Kit's dark eyes moved around the tent, "I will remember," he sighed softly.

She peeked one eye open and put a finger to her lips, "Does that surprise you? Kit doesn't really know yet," Cat shrugged.

Kit smiled, eyes closing briefly, before he stood up. He should probably take advantage of the hot springs while he could.

Cat laughed softly, closing her eyes again, "Speaking of Kit, where did my brother wander off to?"

Kit stood up and exited the tent, heading toward the rocks.

" dunno..." Fae murmurs, leaning against the moist rocks

"Talking about me again, Cat?" Kit mused with a small smile as he approached them. He stopped by the bank, looking down at the water. He began to undo the belt around his pants.

Catherine opened her eyes, peering up at him, "Always, dear brother. Fae and I will have plenty of opportunities to gossip about you."

fae looks away out of courtesy and hugs her knees to her chest self-conciously

"Don't worry," Cat giggled, "Kit won't look at you at all. He's too shy for that. He's a respectable man.~"

Kit grunted and stripped off his shirt and pants, slipping into the water quickly.

Fae sighs and nods, resting her chin on her knees and closing her eyes, her shoulders sagging

"So where did you two disappear to?" Catherine wondered curiously, running her hands back and forth in the water.

Kit didn't answer, closing his eyes. He could tell that Fae hadn't wanted his sister to know, else she would have brought her as well. Catherine wasn't a part of the Swiftbeat bloodline, after all.

" I was showing him so ancient carvings on a wall," Fae hums," Told him all the stories going along with them as well... Thats why it took so long," she answers with a smile

"Brother and sister bonding time, then, huh?" Cat smiled- it was good for Kit and Fae to spend time together, since they never grew up with one another as she and Kit had.

"Yes," the bastard prince spoke with a small smile, "It was nice. I enjoyed myself."

Fae chuckles and glances at the darkening sky," I'll be helping the soldiers keep watch," she says suddenly," With a group of so many nobles and soldiers... It's dangerous..." She mhrmurs

" No one... But that doesnt mean no one knows," she glances upward toward the higher rocks," We're beig watched, ever since we split off.."

His face settled into a grim expression and he nodded, "I could help with one shift of the watch," he offered.
