"uh well thats at home"he said then nudged a thumb towards his car

"We can go after we finish our ice cream," he suggested.

"ok" he said then continued to walk while licking the frozen concoction.

"I'm glad we're friends," Max smiled

He continued to eat his ice cream, humming,

once they got back to his car, both having finished their ice of creams he opened the door for Maxxie

Maxxie smiled and hopped inside.

He drove them to his house and noticing a car out front he sighed but just continued

He tilted his head, "Who's that?"

"my parents" he said nervously

The Blondie's eyes narrowed, "Why are they here?"

"i dont know" he said then turned off the car

Max jumped out and put his hands in his pockets.

he got out and locked the car then walked up to the house with him and opened the door warily. You could hear some arguing from just outside the door and as he opened it a glass plate got thrown at his dad but missed and instead hit Gon and shattered, cutting his cheeks, pushing him back into Maxxie

"Jesus Christ!" He caught the boy easily and spun him around, "Are you okay?!

He blinked a few times and touched his hand to his bleeding cheek then stormed inside the house, hed had enough of them destroying his place "god damit mom GET OUT! THIS IS MY HOUSE NOT YOURS, LEAVE!" he growled but then instantly regretted it, his mom looked furious and his dad stood there, obviously drunk.
