Phoenix wandered off through one of the random doors and down a hallway Jennifer had never gone down before. There were many places in his home she'd never been. Like the library. Or the swimming pool.

She didnt follow him, knowing he needed his time alone. She walked into the bedroom instead and seeing Max sprawled out she sat in the chair and curled her legs to her chest

Phoenix poked his head into the bedroom and gave her a pointed look. "What did I say about sleeping in that chair?"

"But he looks so comfortable" she said with a small chuckle

Phoenix rolled his eyes. "Take the couch tonight," he told her. "I'll find somewhere else to sleep."

She shook her head "ill have plenty of other days to sleep on a bed you deserve something.

"I've been sleeping in a bed for over a hundred years," Phoenix said. "Where have you been sleeping? The cold hard ground?"

"Well ya..." She said thinking back all she knew was sleeping on the ground shivering, trying to keep herself from the cold but the hard ground and cold cement was all the scientists, the owners, the masters, its all they gave her.

"Take the couch, Jen," Phoenix said firmly.

"But, why this is your house and im used to this anyways" she said

"Take. The. Couch," Phoenix said. "End of discussion."

She sighed and rolled her eyes before standing and brushing past him in the doorway to the couch. Noticing the open door she looked inside at the long hallway looking down she walked towards it, curious.

Phoenix checked on Max before following her out of the bedroom. When he didn't see her anywhere, he looked around with a frown. "Jennifer?" he called.

She was looking at a strange door in the hallway that seemed to be lulling her there when she heard him call her but at the same time a voice sounded in her ears.

(Since he was a scientist he should like have known of her powers and something related should be behind the door o.o)

Phoenix spotted the open door. "Uh-oh," he said quietly. He hurried toward the door and down the hallway, hoping to get to her before she walked into anything... uninvited.

She placed her hand on the knob and slowly turned it then walked in the door automatically shutting behind her.

"Jen?" Phoenix called. When she didn't answer, he took off running down the hall.

She looked around the dark room.

Phoenix reached the end of the hallway without finding her. Which meant she must have gone into one of the rooms. Shoot.
