Max screamed, terrified,

She scliced down alien after alien until she was on the ship dealing with those.

Phoenix glanced over his shoulder at Max. He needed to do something with the boy. He ran over to him and took his hand, transporting them far away, to another part of Rome. "Stay hidden here until I could back for you, okay?" he said urgently.

Max clutched his knees to his chest and nodded "but Jennifer...I've never sen her like that" he said his voice shaky.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"I know," Phoenix said gently. "Just try not to think about it for now."

He nodded and kept still.

Jennifer had sliced through all the aliens on her side of the barrier and was just about to run at the barrier.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Phoenix closed his eyes, and when he reopened them he was standing on the space ship. The aliens in the chamber turned in surprise. One of them spoke to him in a strange language he didn't recognize.

She dashed at the barrier and in one swipe it was cut down. She looked at the frightened people then up at the ship and then kept up onto the ship.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Ah... You see, I can explain why I'm here..." Phoenix said. One of the aliens said something else in that garbled language.

She appeared in a doorway holding an aliens head in her bloody hands her eyes shone like brightly colored ruby and her hair floated an aura of extremely strong power surrounded her. She looked to the aliens and growled. It was clear the Jennifer he knew, was gone.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Phoenix took a step away from her, his eyes going wide. This was Jennifer? He'd never even imagined this side of her.

Her sword seemed to soak in all the blood around her and she stepped forward lifting her sword she yelled at the terrified aliens "leave or you all die" she growled, her voice seemed doubled over somehow though, like two people were speaking at once.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

One of the aliens chittered something, another answered, and then all of them raised their hands in a universal sign of surrender. Phoenix let out a breath of relief.

She put the sword down and it got pulled into her arm blood dripping down her right arm now. As soon as it was retracted she blinked a couple times and started to get wobbly she fell to the ground half unconscious half dying.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Phoenix darted forward to catch her, fairly confident that the danger had passed. He swept the unconscious girl into his arms and hurried off the ship as the engines powered up.

she laid limp in his arms, blood begining to leaak from her mouth

Phoenix had to get her to a hospital, and quick. Else he feared she would die. He transported them back to Max's hiding spot.

she was still n his arn though no type of hospital would help and as they got there her words echoed in his ears "its because of my powers im sick"

Max jumped up "Jenny!"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Phoenix shifted Jennifer in his arms and then held out a hand to Max. "Come on, Max. We're going home."

Max stood up and took his hand

Phoenix transported them back to his home, back in the future. He laid Jennifer down on the couch and watched her worriedly. What could he do? He couldn't just watch her die.
