The Targaryen prince looked uncharacteristically flustered by that and he finally glanced back over at her, "...When you were hurt, Maida showed me something that she found." He dug into his pocket and pulled out the ruby.

She looks at the ruby,"... Thats from Rhaegar's armor..." She murmurs, glancing at him,".. Isn't it?"

Olin nodded, "She seemed to have dug it up," he answered, turning it over in his fingers, "Obviously, it's a little hard to understand her, but..I know she was trying to say she wants our families' rivalry to end."

She rests her head on her hands and gazes at it,"... Our families have been fighting for centuries... But the worse was with our great grandfathers... I think she's just sick of the ciolence... I am too.."

"It is certainly...cumbersome," Olin agreed, gazing thoughtfully at the jewel, "...Here. I want you to have it," he murmured.

Olin shrugged, "The history of it doesn't matter much to me. I mean, it's been so long since I've thought about that. I'd rather you keep it. Maybe a momentum of me?" The prince gave her another one of his rare, tentative smiles.

Olin nodded in satisfaction, though his gaze didn't stray from her. He was realizing now that he didn't want her to leave. He'd just go back to traveling with his men and it would be...lonely.
