Indigo raises an eyebrow, her hands clenching and unclenching, obviously challenging that statement

"Yes, you could say that," Olin glanced back, watching as Brig led Maida back over to Indigo.

Maida immediately ruses to Indigo and hugs her, Indigo putting her arms around the blonde.

The King chuckles," This is the Stag Knight?" He laughs and as he turns away calls," Are ya sure it wise to bring her bed mate along, son?"

Indigo glares after the king, her gaze filled with enough fury and defiance to melt the Dragon Stone all around them

"I wasn't going to let them kill her instead, Father," Olin replied coldly. He was still in control, though, and calm.

Indigo mumbles beneath her breath and Maida just grins, patting her head

Olin sighed, "Come- I'll show you where you'll be residing for the time being."

Indigo nods and takes Maida's hand, murmuring to Olin," Is he always so... Happy?"

"Unfortunately, yes," Olin replied, though he sounded annoyed by his answer.

" Ah..." Indigo grows quiet, still staring up at the fortress

Olin gestured for her to follow, leading her and Maida to their room.

Indigo steps into the room, glancing down the halls for a second before hugging Olin tightly,"... Thank you..."

Olin hugged her back, burying his face in her hair, "I'll come and see you whenever I can," he promised her, "If anyone mistreats you, tell me. I'll take care of it."

Indigo gently kisses his cheek," I will... I promise no knocking out people.." She smiles

Olin smiled and nuzzled her, "Thank you, Indigo."

Indigo smiles slightly and pats his cheek," Come back to me soon.." She whispers in his ear, kissing his cheek before repreating back behind the door

Olin inhaled deeply and straightened up. He'd need to stay in control of himself with her around. He couldn't have father get suspicious.

He headed down the hallway to consult with the king and the rest of his family.

TIME SKIP

It was late at night when Olin slipped out of his bed. He was quiet as he walked down the corridor. This was the only time he could see her without anyone noticing his disappearance. He knocked on the door lightly before unlocking it and slipping inside.
