" Ah- no one is that bad- just inept!" She chortles, offering him more and moving away from the fire slightly to allow him acess to the goods. Nyx settles down, cross legged

Kelsier fell silent and started to eat. The food was amazing after a long, hard day, and he devoured it eagerly. He didn't want to talk about hunting. People had tried to teach him, and mostly Kell was just disinterested. He didn't want to kill. Sometimes Corr would bring him parts of his kills, but other than that he never brought home meat.

Her gaze seems to slowly rip him apart after examing eachcell in his body then peice him back together- a peircing gaze," We hunt because we have to- you eat meat, don't you? Where do you think it comes from, the sky? Your old Gods drop slabs of meat through the roof?" Nyx leans back," You're funny- but i'm hilarious." She wraps her arms around her knees, gazing at the flames with a tiny smile

Kell narrowed his eyes. "Some of us don't kill with such unerring ease," he said coolly. "I don't deny I'm a hypocrite. I eat what others kill, but don't want to myself. Nobody's perfect." He muttered the last words, his face turned down, the firelight casting dark shadows across it.

" Nobody's perfect-" she agrees, scooting over and wrapping one arm around his back, murmuring," But you're gonna have to kill someone- something- one day... So i guess i'll just do it for you until then, but when the time comes, you have to do it... Deal?"

"No deals," Kell said, shaking his head. "But you're probably right. I'll have to someday, and I will. But not today."

" I'll do it for you until then-" she promises and chuckles softly, resting her head against his shoulder," Now sleep, 'dire wolf', we'll only be here one day more then we will continue on."

Kell nodded and stifled a yawn. It did seem he should get some sleep. As he laid down to rest, though, he kept opening his eyes to stare at the sky, his thoughts occupied by the lovely assassin sleeping nearby.

Nyx gently places a blanket over him, lying down beside him and wrapping her arms around him warmly," My wolf~ my prince~" she cooes softly, her voice growing fainter as she drifted off into sleep-

Small wisps of smoke rose from the ashes of the fire, the strips of hare having been placed neatly somewhere else and their camp silent except for the sound of the horses.

Then- a quiet cry came from the deep forest, over the sound of the distant waterfall. It was like an animal cry but... No, it was the scream of a man

Kelsier jerked away and sat upright, his eyes wide as they stared around in the morning twilight. "What was that?" he said raggedly.

Nyx was nowhere to be seen, his question seeming to echo eerily through the silence. One of the horses raises it's head to look at him and whickers, ears pricked

Kell drew in a sharp breath and let it out shakily. "Nyx?" he hissed. "Where are you?"

" Not here-" an unfamilar, rough voice growls from across the smoldering ashes, the smoke having hidden the rather ominous figure in a furred cloak. With closer inspection, someone would realize the cloak was an almost Frankenstein-esk patchwork of animal pelts- mainly wolf sins," I'm afraid I had to sick my group on her to keep her distracted. Too bad they woke you..." He stood, the man towering nearly seven feet as the small metallic flash of a huge war hammer dragging against the forested ground," I apologize, i was just going to crush your skull in your sleep... Quick and easy."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Kelsier snatched up the knife he kept near him when he slept and sprang to his feet. "What do you want?" he asked, struggling to keep his voice calm.

" You are more daft then the rumors say if you do not know-" the man rumbles, brandishing his war hammer with immense strength, the weapon itself looked to weigh as much as the giant!

" Where is your wolf? Where is your body guard? By the Seven- where is your sword, boy??" He looks exasperated under the greasy mass of brown locks," The Lannisters promised me a fight if you woke, not... This." He sounds disgusted

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

A fight? Sure. Kell could fight. It was really what he was best at. Just not killing. His sword was also a few feet away, and he wasn't sure where Corr was. Probably off hunting. He let out a shrill whistle, one that meant 'danger.' Then he dove for his sword.

The giant raised his war hammer, the movements pretty slow as expected but more then quick enough to be uncomfortable to fight against... If the prince attempted to block, he risked bones or blade being shattered or at least bent!

In the distance, the yells grew into screams that eventually disappeared into silence or loud gurgles. His Raven was doing her work well

Kelsier stood at the ready. His eyes followed the man as he moved, calculating the best way to fight him. His opponent was huge and probably extremely strong, so he'd have to use his speed to beat him. Dodging would be his only defense here. He paced to the side, his eyes narrowed.

The giant swung at him with immense force, releasing a loud grunt as the hammer roared toward Kelsier," Die!" he roared loudly, eyes almost seeming like two voids
