Densil looks up quickly, the light brown skin clenching as he squirms trying to see who had called for his brother.

Mesa squeaks and juggles the knife a bit before gaining a grasp on it. She sighs a bit in relief and sets the plate of cut up vegetables on the counter.

Riri glances up, letting go of his brother. His gaze had become flinty and cold,".... Yes?"

A guard stood with two others, glaring at him," It's time for training

Densil stares back at them evenly, his dark brown bangs falling over his scarred eye, "... Later Rori."

Mesa shrinks a bit at the sight of the guards and looks down at the plate with trembling fingers.

Rori glances back, looking sad," Mesa... Its ok, you can stay with Densil," he smiles slightly before turning away again," Bye Densil..."

The little girl looks up with a sorry look and nods her head. She still didn't like any of the guards after what had happened...

Densil smiles and picks up his rag from the floor by the chair, "I'll watch her for 'ya."

Rori glances back with a smile of releif before disappearing out the door

Densil watches after his leaving back, the faint agreement of the small girl heard as his older brother suggests that they go grab more things from the storage outside.

The sun hid behind the cloud;,the world seeming to fade into black and white, making everything wrong show and everything right vulnerable. The deceptively beautiful world said that everything was going to be okay, but the flowers and the trees said otherwise. They knew something would happen soon, and stood by quietly...

Rori sensed the tension in the air, it made the hair on the back of his neck prickle anxiously,".... We shouldn't be outside," he says softly

" Why not?" The guard snaps," scared of a little STORM?!"

Rori gazes back at him,"... It's not a storm..."

A male scream rings through the air after the boys reply, and suddenly everyone seems to be in a panic. "A group of unknown people have infiltrated the castle---" another man yells at the top of his lungs shorty before his supply of air was cut off with a swift stab to his stomach.

It was then that the trees fluidly swayed in motion, and the bright colors of the flowers seemed intoxicating.

Death had come back to the castle.

Rori grabs a sword on a rack and immediately sprints to the kitchen," DAD! MESA! DENSIL!!"

The little girl and Densil were no longer in the kitchen, having already gone outside to see if they could find anything else for the dinner they were preparing...

Their father had burst into the kitchen and was frantically looking around, "Rori?! Densil?!"

" I'm here!" Rori cries," But we have ta find densil!!" He glances around in a panic, the sword bumping against his side

The older man takes in a deep breath and closes his eyes a moment before reopening them, "You check the back, I'll go see if he went somewhere in front with the other servants, okay?"

" yeah... Yeah ok!" He immediately snaps out of his worry and runs to the back door, pushing it open with his shoulder

His father watches him before running back the way he had come--praying silently in his mind to whoever would listen.

Let his boys live to see a normal death is all he wanted. Nothing else.

Rori leaps into the pounding rain that had begun to fall," DENSIL-!!! MESAAA-!!" His voice rang across the yard despite the roaring waves

No direct answer came; his brothers usual soft remark about his brain or Mesa's peals of laughter suddenly feeling like a memory from yesterday.

The only reply he got was the sound of flesh and metal smashing into each other, penetrating and dangerous.

Rori bites his lip and runs toward the walkway eneath the castle and right on the cliffs... Maybe they were hiding there..?

One of Misa's little leather shoes was on the pathway, stomped into the mud. Densil would always make sure the girl was okay because of how close she was to Rori, and to see that she was missing one left an unsettling feeling in the air. Not only that though, many of the rocks had smears of blood that was being slowly cleaned away by the rain.
