The boy looked down in embarrassment, "Why? It's not like my family wasn't doing alright without me."

"Because you mean a lot to us. We cherish family. We love and cherish you, too. You /are/ family."

Luca blinked and inhaled quietly, "...Thank you," he murmured with a small smile.

He smiled and released a hand from the stroller handle to hug him with his arm.

Luca leaned into him and chuckled, "I'm not used to this kind of family thing."

"Well, get used to it!" He laughed.

"I'm trying," he laughed softly and shook his head, "It's very different. I never really had to care about anyone before."

"Well, you'll get used to that, too. You care for Ana, right?"

"Of course I care for her!" Luca blinked, looking down at the baby, "She's just a baby..she needs love."

Kevin smiled with a warm gaze, nodding as if Luca had just answered his own inner problem.

He pursed his lips and looked away, "I love Alex too..even though we don't get along."

Kevin smiled. "And Alex loves you too -- he's just found that it's difficult to get along with a new brother. I think that's because you two are so much alike. You two have the same short tempers, though everyone loves you for it." He patted his back gently, in a reassuring way. "Perhaps you should take a different approach toward Alexsander? A kinder one. Maybe then he would feel more inclined to get to know you, and form the bond that you two should already have."

Luca played with the hem of his shirt, "I try to..but sometimes he can be a bit...infuriating."

He nodded his head. "I know, I know, but nothing's going to get better unless you figure out how to solve the problem. And the first step to solving the problem is identifying what it is."

Luca squirmed, "Alright, I'll try and be nice.."

Kevin giggled and let him go, continuing to walk.
