"Being sore means you're getting stronger." Shaman said, grabbing his staff. "In any case, we should did a place to stay. We can either get a room at a small hotel, or just find somewhere to sleep."

Shaman thought for a bit. "I know of a place where you can sleep for free. It's under a bridge, with others there as well, but I know them. They will let us stay, so long as we cause no trouble." Shaman decided. "Will that do?"

Shaman noddd and they walked, saying goodbye to the bartender. The city was dark now, the lights dazzling as Shaman led him a ways until they reached a bridge. Going underneath, soon a whole community of homeless could be seen, cardboard boxes and rooms made from basically everything. Shaman nodded to a feel of they, who waved and greeted him but eyes Syoun suspiciously. However, none moved to pester them. Soon they reached a certain 'room' where Shaman talked with one homeless man with a thick beard and messy hair overall. The man nodded and indicated with his head to the mattresses in the corner. "We'll stay here." Shaman said

The place had multiple random objects lying around. Shopping cart, barrel drum with fire coming out of it for warmth, a shower curtain at the entrance, and a lot of fans and blankets and etc. shaman and the man were talking to each other, the man opening a can and stirring it. "So, what brings you back. Shaman?" He asked. "My friend here. He wishes to escape his old life to find one anew." Shaman said. The man glanced at Syoun and chuckled. "Don't we all?" He said
Syoun looked up at him, his teddy bear green eyes looking into the homeless mans. Syoun was only 17 in two days he would be 18, there was nothing special about him besides his looks, if you dont count his body covered in scars.

The homeless man chuckled. "So kid, why are ya runnin'?" He asked, eating from the can. "You in some kinda trouble?" He questioned as Shaman warmed his hands by the fire

"They? Whose that?" The man asked innocently, eating the rest of his beans. "And That guy's saved more suicidal people then I've ever tried countig, including some here." He said with a smile to Shaman, who only nodded his head. "I thank you for your compliment." He said, making the homeless man laugh

"Your parents? Heh, you're not the only one, kid." he said. He pointed over to one of the 'rooms.' "Over there's Tina. Her Pa was a real bastard. Hit her, burned her, even raped her." The man said, shaking his head. "She came here a few months ago, and since she's young, she has to be real careful, or em authorities'll take 'er to one of em homes for kids and all that." He huffed, clearly not liking the idea. Shaman stayed quite the whole time, gazing into the fires as if in a trance.

The man nods. "Ya can relax here. Whats yer name, kid?" He asked curiously, setting the empty can down and rubbing his hands. "I'm Martin, but call me Marty. I already know Shaman here."
"He stopped me, he said hi" he chuckled thinking of the simple thing that stopped him from his demise, a simple hi was all enough to convince him to stop and talk.

Marty laughed heartily. "Did he now? Hey! Did you Shaman?" He asked the boy. "I saw he was sad, and felt I should talk to him. It's only natural I greeted him." Shaman said with a shrug. Marty chuckled and shook his head. "Listen ya dat grammar. Ya can tell Shaman was raised right. Weren't you part of a tribe, eh? You told me 'bout it once." Marty said. Shaman nodded and gave one of his faint smiles at some memory. "Yes, I am from a tribe."
