A young man, around seventeen years of age, walked by. His golden hair was tousled lightly and he had a pensive look on his face. The young knight, not yet a part of the King's Guard, was named Brinn Holloway. He was usually the butt of many jokes, since his name had a rather feminine ring to it. But he was a sweet young man, with a nice temperament.

Brinn looked up from his seemingly deep thinking and a gentle smile curved his lips, "Princess Ariella," he bowed deeply, "How are you on this fine day?"

" Drawing," she holds up her pad slightly, a crude sketch of a phoenix on the paper
