Finally the group arrived back at the palace. Jack helps Ariella down gently before handing her off to a servant to put his horse away. Then he returned. "Well! Home sweet home!" He says with a smile. "I'm going to check in with Bishop, let him know I returned. So I'll see you later sis!" He says, ruffling her hair before walking off

She glomps his arm before wincing and letting go," By jacky!" She chirps, a servant comig around and guidin her away

Jack chuckles as he makes his way back to the barrack.

Eventually, after giving a full account of all that transpired, Jack made his way to the garden and promptly flopped onto the ground gracelessly. He was tired, and thank the gods Bishop hated long meetings. Guess thats part of being from the north. It's too cold to talk that long. Now if only the South could learn that. Jack laughs at the thought. "With this heat? No chance." He muses to himself

" No chance what?" A familar blonde head appears frkm behind a rose bush

Jack looks up from the ground but quickly looks away, red. Woops. Remember kids, girls wear skirts and dresses! "Uh... Er..." He stammers before clearing his throat. "I was just thinking about how short Bishop's talks were and how I wish dad and them were like that more."

Ariella rolls her eyes and crawls over, sittting next to him, her arms covered in white gauze," Huh, So... What did bishop say about the rumor being a lie then?"

"Oh..... Uh...." Jack has a mometary flashback. "I... uh... left the room before he started breaking stuff. He did here at least three things smash before I hightailed it out of there." He says with a chuckle, but he was serious

" Ooh... Bishop is an angry guy, huh?" She smirks and pats his face

"No kidding?" He aks rhetorically, laughing. "His anger could fuel a war, but he's smart enough to hold it in to use on enemies."

" You're considered an enemy then?" She smirks and leans over him, putting his head on her knees and playing with his nose

Jack scrunches up his nose. "No, But I guess he considers the wall an enemy. I swear, there are marks there now." He says while laughing

" Walls and their devious plans," She giggles and kisses his nose, squishig his cheeks

"Hey quit it!" He protests, laughing as he removes her hands. "And walls are devious!"

" They may strike at any moment," she crows

Jack laughs. "Yes, but Big Bad Bishop is there to save the day! Defeating any and all walls!"

" Yush!!" She trills and hugs him," Aaaand... Then there's you," she teases

"What? I get nothing? Oh gee, thanks Ariella. I feel offended. I'm not talking to you anymore." He says with a mock pout, crossing his arms stubbornly

She hugs him amd laughs," But i STILL love you!!!"

Jack onyl shakes his head, closing his eyes and turning his head, still appearing mad, though he was internally laughing to dead
