Jack couldn't reply to that. Instead he only took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "I....." He said uncertainly. This was his sister. The girl he'd grown up with, scared away the boogeyman for, chased off the bullies, helped her fight back. He loved her... But in what way? Now he was confused

Jack smiles despite the whole situation and smoothes out her hair calmly to help her get to sleep, his own mind going a mile a minute over this whole thing. There were siblings! And yet..... And yet..... He didn't know
