Jack nodded and started blowing out the candles. There was a faint glow due to the moon, but that was about it. Jack walked over to Ariella and gave her a light kiss on the cheek. "Night, Ari." He said before he walked over to his cot and laid down, sliding under the covers

She glances at him and smiles, managing to kiss his cheek

Jack blinks but smiles when he lays down. He stays silent for a while before finally speaking. "I bet you're wondering what my decision or feelings were on the whole situation. That or I'm very self centered and have completely missed the mark." He said, scratching his chin

" I know you too well to acuse you of being ego-centric..." She whispers and blinks at him

Jack laughes at that. "Thanks! Then I guess my feelings are...." He paused for a second before sighing, "mutual I suppose but I just..... Why me? As I said, there's a lot of good guys out there. Ones who'll make you a heck of a lot happier. I'm just me." He said, turning on his side to face away from her. "I'm not that great of a guy."

"What?!" He exclaimed, flipping back over. "Prove it!" He challenged, his familiar mischievous grin on his face once more

" you just did!" She smirks and rolls to face him, a smile on her face seeming to instantly light up the tent

Jack scrunched up his face. "How did I prove it? I did nothing!" He argued

" Again!" She chirps int he darkness, wiggling in the sheets

Jack flips onto his back, throwing up his hands in frustration before turning to her. "What are you talking about?!" He asked
