She shook her head and put a hand over his mouth "thats just gonna make her angry" she said. The birds eyes snapped open and because of the magic used on her she saw him as a threat. Bursting to flames, the phoenix dove towards him.

She shook her head and stopped the bird from hitting him "sorry i should have told you about her"

He chuckles and shok his head," mot your fault, can you forgive me?" He asks the bird

The birds flames died down and she landed on Nicolette's shoulder, it seemed to be in thought for a few moments then slowly nodded.

" Then i can pet you, yeah?" He asks with a slight smile

The bird eyed him skeptically then its living flames turned to red orange fur and it bowed its head for him to pet her.

Nicolette smiled, the bird was one of a kind, there were few phoenixes in the world and this one was the only one capable of shifting its forms.

He reaches out and gently strokes its head feathers with his thimb," Hmph... You like people, huh?" He muses to the bird though he glances at her and winks

Landon chuckles softly and pulls his hand away, putting a hand on her shoulder," Hey... Its ok to blush, happens alot," he muses

She looked at him and nodded "okay" she said then put a finger on the birds nose, "go on, i need to take a shower" she said to the bird who flew off her shoulder to its perch. "Uhh make yourself at home ill be as quick as possible" she said

He chuckles," Take your time," and sits ont he floor with his back agaisnt her bed

The phoenix flew over to him and landed on his knee.

She tried to take a shower, coming out ten minutes with a towel wrapped around her body, her hair dry and her makeup done"i just need clothes now" she mumbled walking to her dresser.

He glances up from where he was strokig the phoenix and smiles cheekily before looking away

She blushed "sorry" she said pulling out a black t-shirt and jeans along with a sweater and pulled on her combat boots, after changing in the bathroom she walked out "ok im ready" she said

He laughs and shrugs," No a problem, sweetness," he chirps," So... Whatta ya wanna do?"
