".. Hm." Udolf glances over the city again," Who is this?"

"Who is THIS?" the speaker counters, "How do I know you're not some stalker trying to get in her pants?"

" I'm Udolf... Her old buddy," He chuckles," And she probably complains how i used to mess with her boobs, huh?"(x3)

[Light]

(XD) "Oh, you're /that/ Udolf," she sighs into the speaker, "She complained about A LOT of things with your name in the same sentence. My names Avaery--i'm a nurse that works with Cloud."

He chuckles," Could you get her possibly? Call her? And.. If she cant find the kids parents' tell her to brig the kid.. Ok?"

[Light]

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph--you make it sound easy. I'll try then, don't get your hopes up. I'll have her idiotic little arse at the capital building in a bit."

" Thanks.. Stay safe," He murmurs, glancing back at the widow... Still quiet..

[Light]

"Another in-poss-eye-ble request." she hangs up abruptly, not waiting for him to reply. Cloud had the strangest of friends...

Up high where he was, the sound wouldn't reach. But down on the streets, near the sits Lumi had pointed to be sites of ICE labs, there was a constant hum; like the sound of thousands of wings repeatedly flapping. The sky had begun to darken even more, and the rain didn't cease. It was around half an hour before a large red flare rose up in the air and exploded--a UC flare. The Lions didn't seem to be moving out on the surface, and not a hair of them was spotted on the streets.

Caoi sits up on the hospital bed but curses when a wave f dizziness knocks her back down," Lumeh... help Udlf, don't let him break..." she pleads sftly

Udolf watches the flare disappear," Not yet Erin..."

" Yessir... we're in position, just tell us when its time,"

[Light]

Lumi looks down at her and nods his head, his large frame slipping off of the bed, "I-I'll try--but you said that he'd be okay... That he wouldn't break. Why the change of mind?"

The area where the flare had risen up from sparks with gun shots, and large metallic bugs with a neon blue glow begin to fly out by the dozens. Those were nano's--just REALLY, really big. More gun shots are fired, and a bug falls into a building smearing into a window.

Lumi shrugs and murmurs," Just go... And i'll catch up, promise," she hugs his neck," Hurry,"

The ear shutters buckle just the slightest under the bug's weight, though thank god, not breaking. Udolf raises his hand to the sky," Now Erin... NOW!"

Suddenly ducts on the streets spring open and mechanical wolves streak onto the streets and slam into the bugs. Soldiers streaming in behind them... This was why Erin was gone for almost two years...

[Light]

Lumi shivers suddenly and rips open a window, "I smell Friend blood." He takes in a deep breath again and jumps out of the building--from god knows how many floors.

In a dark black dress streaked with grey, Cloud huddles against a building--by herself. She was hugging a long white doctors jacket to her, the material drenched a dark violent red. "Avaery..." She violently kicks her foot out a an androids head; the little girl that had been asking to lead her to her mother. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." She ignores the mechanic wolves and soldiers, her fingers fumbling around in one of the large jacket pockets.

An android hound suddenly falls onto the little girl, grabbing it's small neck its it large jaws, sending a bolt of electricity through the little body..

Caoi leans back and bites her lip.. Sit up slowly now.. Thats it..

[Light]

Cloud looks at the Hound in horror, her green eyes flickering uneasily. Friend--she knew that--but she didnt know who she could trust anymore. Not when she just Avaery get torn apart and eaten by bugs. Anger floods her beings and she pulls out a lighter from the pocket and presses the cool metal against her lips.

Her communicator suddenly crackles to life," Cloud~?!"

[Light]

She reaches for it with her free hand and waits. "What." She snaps, and then winces. She shouldn't be mad at him. It was the lions she hated.

" I'm coming... I'm sorry..." His voice became very soft..

[Light]

Clouds hand darts up to her mouth, a choked sob making it over the line. "I'm scared."

[CrimsonMoon]

" I know. Stay there.. I'm almost there.. No one's gonna hurt you, ok?"

[Light]

She cradles the holo pad and falls onto her side. "I wish they grabbed me instead. It would hurt less."
