THE SEA WITCH :: GoT Open

The girl began to wring out her dark hair, removing the soaked shawl from her bare shoulders. She hung it up on a small peg. In the corner, a fire crackled quietly, "Thank you," she hummed, dark eyes examining the man curiously.

He had walked over to the fire, warming his hands. His clothes were torn and soaked, but obviously were battle-used leather. On his shoulder was some kind of tribal-like tattoo of a shark that reached his elbow, and a metal ring was in his ear. The man was obviously from some sort of crew or a pirate.

"What's your name, stranger?" She asked finally, one delicate eyebrow raising.

The man looked over at her and then back to the fire. "Jorrey. Sorry I didn't tell you earlier. It slipped my mind and I'm not exactly trained at manners." He confesses with a chuckle

"That doesn't surprise me," the girl said with a smile. She walked over to a small kettle that was heating up over the fireplace.

Jorrey chuckled and raised an eyebrow at her. "What makes you say that? Im curious, though I don't blame you." He admits with a crooked smile

"I've met plenty of people with manners worse than yours. The sea washes up some strange individuals," The girl chuckled fondly, sounding amused by what she was telling him.

"Darn. and I wanted to make an impression." He sighed sarcastically. "You get many visitors often?" He asked, amused at the idea

Daveene picked up the whistling teapot and poured the boiling water into a small cup, "No, not often."

"Even though you're close to that place?" He asked, glancing out the window to the other islands that could just barely be seen.

"Why would anyone care about little ole me when they sit right over there?" Daveene grinned, placing a few tea leaves into her cup.

He shrugged. "Dunno. Some people are like that." He mused with a chuckle. "So, Daveene, why are you out here? Just sitting on a rock?"

"I like watching," The girl replied with a smile, sipping on her hot tea, "This is the perfect place."

He chuckled. "That's definitely true." He mused. "So you said others would wash up here. Who were they? I'm curious."

"Usually sailors," She shrugged, "But I've seen merchants, even a few unlucky nobles. Those are usually dead."

Jorrey laughed. "No doubt. But never a pirate?" He asked. "Or are they under 'sailors'?"

Daveene paused and hummed, "If there has been, they never openly admit to being one. I was probably told he was a seaman."

Jorrey smiled slightly, chuckling. "Then I'll be an honest guy. I am a pirate,as I'm sure you've probably figured out"

The Sea Witch smiled and sipped her tea, "What ship do you sail with?"

"It's called the Bloodsail because our captain has a love of red. To this day I still don't know why." He chuckled. "We're not ironborn, if you were trying to figure out from that."
