The heir to Kitsune stared numbly at the freshly up turned dirt.
Six feet wide. Six feet long. Six feet deep.
That was the measurements they used to bury her father--the evil demon king. The man who had ransacked a mountain filled with an old, intelligent race and killed their leader, running them out of their lands. He who killed her mother and her biological father. The person who conditioned her everyday growing up by poisoning her to see if she could take it. Just a few days ago though, he had been done in by his own self.
It was during one of his games with her. He had poisoned one of the teacups, mixed the two, and made her pick one. She chose the one that wasn't poisoned. He wasn't so lucky.
Readjusting her dress, she shakes some dirt of the hem before turning away from the tombstone. He was dead--but she wasn't. That meant she won--and the prize was the kingdom of Kitsune.

A girl seemingly dressed in shadows stepped from behind a nearby tombstone and watched the soon to be queen of the land. "Sorry about your father's death," the woman drawled.
Sakura pauses looking at the woman. "Yes, we all are sorry for his passing." she replies--she had memorized the lines and repeated them several times already in the past few hours.
One of her multicolored eyes flicker, sensing the shadows growing. She fully turns facing Dawn and grabs the sides of her skirt curtseying. "Long live Kinoro."
