Dakota saw her stirring and immediately abandoned their 'conversation', going over to her as she began waking up.

"It hurts" she murmured, slowly and shakily putting her hand on her abdomen.

"Well don't touch it silly girl." He grabbed her hand and pulled it away from her abdomnen, but he couldn't bring himself to release it.

The sibling all looked to each other and even the "tough guy" of the four went in for their little group hug.

With the strength she had left she forced herself up to peck his cheek gently and lean on his shoulder "thank you" she felt now how she had never felt before, able to trust him.

A faint blush was brought to his cheeks, but it was a nice one and it gave him a nice, warm feeling. He wasn't sure how to describe it, but he'd certainly never felt it before! "No problem." He whispered quietly.

Worry returned to plague Dakota even though he knew it was pointless. She was going to be fine. "Sleep well." He whispered, kissing her forehead and returning to the chair and falling asleep immediately.

After almost a week she was back on her feet and almost but not yet completely healed, she had constantly worried about him and would accidentally worry him by passing out out of exhaustion which was remarkable since most of the time he was forcing her to stay in bed, but her body was recovering well, the gaping holes had become the beginning of scars and her mind had been reset to only think of him. "So can we go out today?" She asked Dakota, sitting on the counter of her kitchen. After she was able to walk they had helped her back to her own room and she to her content often had him as a visitor.

Dakota looked at her sternly. Most of his wounds were just scars now, but his stomach was still very tender and was also just beginning to scar. "Walk around. I want to see how much you've healed." He gave a twirl of his finger. "Want help off the counter?" Dakota offered with a grin

She smiled and nodded, she couldn't really jump off yet, thats why whenever he was here and she was trying to get around he would set her up somewhere where her feet couldnt reach the ground, that way she couldn't get down.
