Dakota took up the rear so he could keep an eye on all four of them. He was worried for Shiko because he could see and smell all of the blood.

Once they were out they picked up their pace, kellin making sure she was on and ok before dashing off, all the brothers following.

Dakota attempted to run but was greeted with a face plant to the sidewalk; so he just worked his way to the house on his own. Once he was back at the house, well after the other five, he shifted back and nearly collapsed from exhaustion.

He was caught by Jake and led to the room where Kellin and Zeke were working on stitching her up.

"How are you feeling?" Dakota asked Shiko as he fell against the wall and slid to the floor, exhausted.

She didnt respond, they had whatever they could use but she needed serious help "Dakota we might need to take her to a hospital" kellin said

Dakota hesitated. "Can we go to hospitals? What if they take a blood sample or something and figure out she's not just a regular human?" It made him nervous. But there was something in the back of his mind that was just niggling to be remembered.

"I dont think we can but she needs blood, she lost a lot" they said.

All of a sudden a thought came to the front of his mind. "I know a doctor we can take her to. He knows about us. Well at least me." He told them where the doctor was. "I have to go though." He said seriously.

"Go where, this is your chick we are only helping her cuz shes your friend" they said.

"Guys, seriously. Help me get her somewhere and I won't ask any more favors." His tone was serious and full of his weariness.

"where are you going first" they said upset in unison

"umm. . . With her. . ." Dakota replied in confusion. He wasn't really sure what they were talking about.

"Oh i thought you were leaving somewhere else" kellin sighed in relief then picked up the limp shiko, Jake offering his back to him for a piggy back.

Dakota sighed. He didn't want rides, especially not in human form, and couldn't exactly trot down a busy street as a snow leopard. "I'm going to shift into a mouse so you can just like put me in your pocket or something." He decided, shifting immediately without waiting for an answer.

Jake picked him up and put him in his pocket then put a halter on Kellin and the three boys including the horse walked down to the hospital hurriedly.

Dakota gave a little squeaky sneeze from Jake's pocket.

Once they arrived they waited for instructions from Dakota.

Dakota crawled out of Jake's pocket to the ground and shifted again. Going up to the door he knocked and a large dark-skinned man answered. "My friend needs medical care but I can't take her to the hospital because she is kinda like me." Dakota said quietly and the man brought them inside. "Lay her on that bed." He instructed the boys with a deep gravelly voice.

The horse shifted and set her down gently.
