Tristin laughed as Ealia tickled him, "Wow, Ade! Bunches of people love you!"

Adara's heart dropped.
Tristin had seen Parco and his friends...all over her. Adara picked up Tristin from Ealia's grip before he could say anything else and set him on his feet.
"Very funny, kid. Are you hungry?" She asked, trying to change the subject.

He frowned at his words and at her sudden change of tone he could imagine what it was. He wrapped his arm gently around her and then kissed just below her ear,"can I talk to him for a moment?" He asked, his tone no longer holding its playful bouncyness.

Before Adara could register what he said,
"I'm hungry!" Tristin ran out of the room and to the kitchen.
Adara looked over to Ealia, she pecked his lips, "I'm going to use the restroom. You go start breakfast. "
Her pregnancy was calling. She ran to the bathroom and locked the door.

He smiled at the child then seeing him run off he chuckled and smiled at her," yes my dear" he mumbled then noticing her sick face he pulled her back and tied up her har before she ran into the bathroom. He left the room and found Tristin.
Elia scooped him up and plopped him down on a chair. He gazed at him, calming his mood so the boy would listen,"we need to talk for a bit okay Tristin."

"Food!" He hummed, his barging tool. Food for his secrets.

He shook his head,"not until you listen ok" he said firmly.

He crossed his arms, but nodded his head. "Wut?"

"I need you to know that nobody besides me has ever loved Adara

Tristin snarled, "I luv her!"

"Ok you and me budy but those guys, those guys that did to Adara what I did, they dont love her, they were being bullies." He tried to explain.

"That's not what Ade said!" He said confused.

That when Adara walked in, "I'm starving!"

He frowned "Adara" he said in a stern tone,"He needs to know" he said.

Adara was confused for a moment, before she remembered what Ealia said before she ran off. Her anger boiled. She dragged him into the hall.
"What are you telling him?" She growled.

"I need him to know that only when I do that to you it's ok, that they dont love you they just want to use you" he said

Adara breathed out heavy, "I understand that. But listen to me, he doesn't need to know. I don't want him to know. You have no right to discuss that with him."

He frowned,"Ade, I dont want to fight with you" he said, placing a gantle hand on her cheek,"but if Tristin knows that if somebody touches you wrong and is the deciding factor between you getting raped again or him calling me I need him to know" he said, his voice pleading and desperate.

Adara stepped back, letting his hand fall. Her eyes were hard, "It won't happen again. Not another word about it to him, understand?"

Elia sighed and nodded taking her hand gently and pressing his lips to hers lightly,"forgive me?"

She nodded, "Let's eat something before school."

He nodded and headed into the kitchen smiling at Tristin, "alright, what do you want for breakfast?" He asked with a big smile, faking his happiness for his lover.
