Serenity hums a bit, a giggle escaping her lips, "London Bridge is Falling down~" She giggles again rolling on the floor, "How high is the casualty rate in the loss of agents lately?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Very high," Nora said softly. She'd found that out when looking through the records. It wasn't helpful that Eloise seemed to be shooting people who displease her, or at least who she thought were disloyal.

[Light]

Serenity nods a bit, "So of course they'd be running out of agents- it doesn't help that there's been massive feedings to the Destroyer. The people are growing scared of the UC- well the ones that aren't part of Earth. The people here are too brainwashed to tell whats what." Serenity furrows her eyebrows biting her tongue, "The population is dwindling away slowly."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Why would Eloise be killing innocents, though?" Nora asked. "It doesn't make sense."

[Light]

Serenity rolls her eyes, "How ELSE are you gonna feed a planet destroying monster? It's not just innocents though- she's also been getting some of the Ravens."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Even worse," Nora said gravely. "The Ravens are probably the solar system's only hope."

[Light]

Serenity stands up in the bondages, hopping around. "Your forgetting that a kingdom can fall from within- look at Rome."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"But who is left to pick up the pieces afterward?" Nora pointed out.

[Light]

"No one." Serenity bluntly replies. "Well, I take that back- it'd have to be someone extremely talented in keeping a whole universe together. Eloise HAD potential, but she totally lost her marbles, and look at us all now."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Nora gazed off at the other end of her cell, her expression sad. Was there anyone who could run the whole solar system well? Power seemed to go to people's heads, no matter who they were before. Somehow, they had to limit any one person's power.

[Light]

Serenity slips and falls on the ground letting out a groan of pain, "Why don't you try to look at past civilizations, don't they teach you history or something here?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Nora's mouth twisted into a wry smile. "I don't know what makes you think they give us a nice, braod view of history. I'm fairly sure what they teach us is biased."

[Light]

"Oh well then, it's nice to dream. Guess I'll just think all by myself then in my small little cold cell... threatened by scary zappy bars and weighed down by shackles." Serenity gives a little sniff rolling towards the back of the cell.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"You're not by yourself," Nora said, blinking. "I'm here. And we'll escape together. I doubt I'll be much help, but I'll do whatever I can."

[Light]

Serenity stops rolling to look at her before starting up again, "I can see why Seth wants to marry you."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Nora blinked at her, surprised. She thought that was a compliment; she couldn't see how it wasn't. It made a faint blush rise to her cheeks, her words drawing back the moment when he'd proposed. Why did Seth want to marry her? He had girls all over the earth--and maybe other planets--mooning over him, and yet he'd chosen her. Somehow, it didn't make sense.

[Light]

sernity starts snickering, curling up in a ball.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Nora scooted closer to her door and peered across at Serenity. "Are you okay?" she asked. She hoped that rolling on the floor and curling up was all laughter, not something else.

[Light]

Serenity nods, "Ah yeah, i'm not going insane yet. Just get's cold in here sometimes." She turns to face to the bars still curled up. "They made me change into this nasty jail uniform for non-awesome people, which is totally messed up cause i'm awesome."

Nora looked down at her own clothes and sighed. Would she be wearing the same outfit for the next few days, or would she be forced to change into one of those... things they made prisoners wear?
