"No, im hideous" he said turning his face away from her.

"Look at me," she commanded, taking his chin in her hand. Catlin's eyes flashed. "Youre far from hideous my friend. You have absolutely no reason to hide. Your face may be scarred...but it makes you who you are. Youre beautiful. With or without them."

He smiled slightly and took her hand in his "if im to think im handsome you must accept how amazing you are"

She shook her head vigorously, frowning as well. "Im sorry, thats one thing that i cant accept. Im not amazing...im a horrible...horrible person." She murmured, keeping her hand in his, but looking at the ground.

He put his other hand beneath her chin and tilted her head up "you are the most amazing person ive met, and i can rarely stand anyone.

She stared into his eyes. "I wish i could believe you....but, but i cant." She sighed. "You think im an amazing person...but you dont know what i did. What ive done...you dont know...that i killed my family." She murmured, closing her eyes as a tear slid down her cheek. "Im a monster."

He shook his head "and i just cant believe you, i couldn't save my parents, it was my fault, my ex mate killed herself because of me, your not the only one." He said then embraced her, "your not alone anymore."

She began to sob into his shoulder at the recognition that she really wasnt alone anymore.

He stroked her hair and held her, this was honestly the first time he ws able to stand someone, he felt he understood her and today just seemed to be a day of weird firsts.

She shivered slightly, realizing that she was sobbing into his bare chest, and tried to pull away. "I-im sorry...im usually not this emotional..." She whispered, looking at her bare feet, pale against the floor.

He chuckled "its fine," then smiled gently.

She wipes the last of her tears away, and pastes a grin on her face. Just as shes about to speak, her stomach growls loudly. Her eyes widen, and she starts to laugh. "Guess im kinda hungry."

"What do you like? I can cook" he said.

"You can just do everything, cant you?" She says sarcastically, then thinks, "an omelet sounds good."

He chuckled "sure, what do you want on it?"

"Hm...cheese...sausage...and hot sauce. LOTS of hot sauce," she said grinning wickedly.

"Yes ma'm" he said then slipped away to the kitchen.

"Such a polite little gentleman," she giggled, following him, even though he was taller than her by at least a foot.

He pulled out the eggs and the ingredients.

She stands behind behind him and watches quietly. "Is there anything i can do to help?" She asks.
