Cei kissed her cheek, "You're not that old, Jenny."

She chuckled a wizened laugh,"i'm much past the years you believe me to be then" she claimed.

Carter walked over to her and gently kissed er forehead,"you will be done with all this work soon"

Cei smiled, "Yes, you'll get your rest soon."

She nodded then took a deep breath,"so what did you boys come down here for, I cannot say it was to talk to an old woman such as myself"

He chuckled, "Carter came to get food for Farin."

"I can do it myself," he told her before moving to make the food.

Jenny had started to get up but had been intercepted by Carter so she smiled and nodded, gazing at Cei,"how are you fairing on the islands?" She asked Cei.

Cei shrugged, "It's a little different, but I'm okay."

She gazed at him,"are you and colene being careful?"

He nodded, rubbing the back of his neck, "Of course."

"You hesitated, did you guys get caught?" She asked shocked.

"No, God no," Cei shook his head, "I just...I want to be the one that's there for her."

"But? Because she was now forced to be legally married to the prince you dont feel like your there for her" Jenny answered, sighing slightly ,"Anser me this my child, who does she call for when she is not feeling well or when she is lonely? You, or him?"
