Eventually they headed out to the town from their island. Drow had been provided with a shirt as well, although it was sleeveless. The town was bustling, but very friendly. Drow looked around in awe. So many people! And they weren't gathered for a fighting match!!!!

Val walked along with him," Come on..." She chirps excitedly, pulling him along him

Drow walked with her happily, looking around. But then suddenly he heard something. "At my feet, Death's Hand!" Came a commanding voice. Immediantly Drow hurried over and stood before a grizzly looking man. "Master!!!" Drow said happily. The man cracked a small smile and ruffled Drow's hair like he would a dog. "Hello again, Drow. Ah, to see you again makes me once more questioned what possessed me to trade my best fighter for some coin!!" The man lamented with a sigh. "I was not your best!" Drow insisted, but te man only cuffed him on the ear swiftly. "Oh shush! You were! But I guess it was your time to go, even to such a fat man." He growled. The man had tan skin, pitch black hair and beard, and steel colored eyes. He stood with a sort of intimidating aura around him

Val hurries after him, grinning, but when she sees the man, she seems to shrink back and hides behind Drow,".... Hi," she chirps and smiles wearily

He blinks at her in surprise, but nods to her. "Hello there. I am Rodrick. Who is this, Drow?" He asked. "This is Valeria, my new master. Well, sort of. I'm her personal servant." Drow says with a shrug

" I'm not his master... I'm not his master," she yelps and bumps her forehead into his back," You're my half-free servant..."

Drow only laughs and ruffles her hair. "So what have kid one while in her service?" Rodrick asked. "Killed a gun-wielder and a shark." Drow replied. "A shark?!" Rodrick exclaimed before groaning. "Ah! That just makes me feel worse for trading you!!! Why'd I ever listen to that fat buffoon of a sultan?!" He sighed.

You should make Maria and Jiya pop up to see what's holding up Val and Drow XD then Jiya can see Rodrick again ))

She rolls her eyes," Thats only because Akai was in danger, i bet you wouldve hugged that shark if she was on the ebach with me," she teases

" VAL!!" A familiar voice calls, Jiya appears next to Val but as she sees Rodrick, her amber eyes widen,"... Rodrick..?!"

Rodrick turns and looks surprised. "Jiya?! I thought you were long gone!!!" He said, a slow smile appearing as he could belive his eyes. "That or you died fighting!"

Jiya frowns faintly but murmurs," I thought you had gotten sold off to some far off pit," she smiles weakly and pushes her hair back," it's good to see you again

Rodrick smiles and nods back. "That it is. Drow, want to fight again for old time's sake? I've got a fight soon and would love to have my Death's Hand fight another match." He offered. Drow grinned. "Yes sir! What type of match?" "A blooding one. You've got five minutes to play, and don't lose." Rodrick said. "You two can watch if you desire." He said to Val and Jiya

Jiya smiles and crosses her arms," Tryig to show off again, Rodrick?" She teases," that got you in trouble last time if i remember correctly,"

Val chuckles," I feel a little skepticle but if thats why drow wants.."

Rodrick rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Eh, I don't fight any longer. My days of being the legendary 'Hungry Beast' are over. Now this one," he said, yanking Drow to his side and holding his chin, "This here is 'Death's Hand!' A legend of his own! He holds the fastest kill in all of the Pits history: Four seconds! Of course, that was in a practice match where the ring was smaller, and he disobeyed me, but still!" He said. Drow had narrowed his eyes though and pulled away, suddenly cold and grim. "I do not regret it." He said flatly. Rodrick nodded. "Aye, I know, I know.... Head over to the ring. You remember the building." He said. Drow walked off as Rodrick sighed. "He never talks about that fight. I had to find out what happened from others. Not amount of punishment made Drow talk."

Jiya fells silent," I remember... I remember.." She murmurs and bows ber head

Val gazes after Drow sadly," I'll... Go with him," and rushes after Drow

Rodrick nodded to Val but raised an eyebrow at Jiya. "You know? You saw the video of that fight? I found out the story why he killed the other fighter only recently in comparison." He said, shaking his head.

" No.. I only knew because the fighter he killed was my Apprentice," She smiles bitterly," He deserved to die i suppose,"

Rodrick nodded. "He did. I found out what happened when I bought him. I had a new girl as well, and this guy raped her. I didn't find out about it, but Drow did. Without realizing this, I set them up for a practice match to see how the new guy would fare, since Drow was recovering from his wound still. What resulted was the fastest kill I've ever seen and Diliberate disobience. Drow killed him with the gate, as you saw. Chopped his head right off." Rodrick said, shivering slightly

"I should've known something was wrong. When Drow gets angry, it's truly terrifying. He doesn't yell and curse. No, he just goes dead silent and glares at you. Makes you feel ashamed and afraid all at once. Like a lapdog that ran into a wolf. Drow's only been angry at me once, and I hope he never is again."

Jiya chuckles amd murmurs," I had been planning an accident for the guy... But he got to him first," She sighs and looks away, looking a bit embarassed," it's... Be awhiel, huh?"

He chuckles. "That it has. What happened to you though? You with that sultan guy?! The buffoon that bought Drow off me?"

She sighs and murmurs," I was bought again just as i won at King's Hall by the Sultan... Yeah.. but its not any worse then at the Pits." Jiya smiles weakly but turns away," We should be going, huh?"
