Salem rolled out of bed and stretched, "We'll have to get there a little early, so I can get properly dressed."

Salem grunted, "Mark, what are you doing?"

"Bear rugging you" he said with a smile.

The incubus rolled his eyes, "You still need to get dressed, babe."

"We don't have time for that," Salem sighed against his lips, "It's almost six."

Mark pouted,"im sorry, please forgive me," he whimpered.

"You were stupid, so you have to suffer through some punishment," Salem stated, "I'm still kissed at you for running away."

He frowned, "im sorry, i know, i just didnt want to hurt you."

"Too late," Salem said, his voice flat.

He frowned,"i was only gone for a few minutes"

"You ran away from me," Salem shook his head, "How long it was is irrelevant."

He got off,"dont you understand how hard im trying! Im scared! I dont want to hurt you! I love you!" He yelled, letting his temper out of control, he was heaving breaths now, pacing, trying to calm himself down.

Salem sat up, rubbing his arms, "And I love you, which is why I trust you. You don't have to run away because even if you were to lose control, I can take care of myself. I wouldn't let you hurt me, and if you did, I wouldn't blame you because it wouldn't be /you/. I know you would never hurt me because you're so scared about it."

Salem stood up and walked over to him. He took Mark's face in his hands, speaking clearly, "Listen to me right now: You will always be my number one. Through all things, thick and thin. I'm not letting you run away no matter how crazy things get. I have my issues and you have yours. You've stuck with me so there's no way in hell that I'm going to leave you. Ever. You're stuck with me."
