"You sure?~" he smiled and kissed his pulse point.

He nodded slightly before kissing his forehead.

Salem hummed against his skin, "I want you to know that I'm leaving tomorrow, Mark," he murmured, kissing his collarbone.

"What do you mean?" He asked

"I'm going away for a while," he replied, shrugging, "To Italy."

"How long?" He asked

Salem pulled away and kissed his nose, "Does it really matter?"

"Yes, it does"

Salem sighed and pulled away from him, "A year. I'll be gone for a year."

"Why?"

[нαℓƒ~мσση]

"To be away from all the distractions," Salem replied with a sarcastic chuckle, "At least, that's how my father described it. He means away from the Pink Rhino and my slaves."

"To do what?" He asked saddened to see him go so soon.

"To learn to handle myself properly and act as a contributing member of society," he snorted and swam away from Mark, to the side of the pool, "Meaning: stop wh*ring around and get serious about my life."

He sighed and stayed there "you know you can do that here"

"No, you know I /can't/ do that," Salem argued, pulling himself out to sit on the edge, "My father obviously doesn't understand how I am. A change in scenery isn't going to do sh*t."

He shook his head "im sure you can, i know we just met, but im sure i can help you," he said

"You can't "help" me, Mark. I know you want to, but I don't want help," He kicked his feet through the water slowly, "I like who I am."

He wadded through the water and came up between his legs "then find your own place to live, i dont want you leaving here"

Salem sighed and gently ran his fingers through Mark's hair, "Mark, you're making this harder than it has to be. If we just let things end here, you could move on with your life. We aren't bound to each other by any means. Me leaving shouldn't be a big deal."
