Shen rubs his temple, feeling a headache coming on. So many questions with absolutely no answers. It was infuriating. It was....

Maddening.

At that thought he felt another searing pain on his chest, but different from last time. Wordlessly, he got up and went out onto the balcony, gritting his teeth and removing his cloth shirt, since he had removed his armor before sleeping. He was well scarred and toned instead of bulky, but right now he focused on the strange symbol burnt into his chest. It was odd.

One half of it was spiraling, free, and manic while the other half was sharp, jagged, and hard looking. It looked like nothing but utter maddness and utter opposites.

He scowled down at the branded mark, black as if it had been burnt onto his skin by iron. "What is this insanity?" He muttered to himself

Fae sits up and calls softly,"... Uhm... Shen..?"

Her voice jolts him out of his thoughts and he turns. "What?" He asked, walking back in slightly to see what she wanted

She looks at his chest and blinks,"... You're cursed by Sheograth..." She says sadly but simply. She say up and smiles weakly

Shen blinks at her. "Sheogorath...." He murmurs. Then he blinks again.

It made sense now.

Shen heard a chuckle come from somewhere, but then realized it was him. When he did, the chuckle turned to outright laughter, loud and hearty, though the mirth was dry and mostly directed at himself. "Of course it's the mad god. Who else would I get? My life's been a mad mess from the beginning." He chuckled, holding his face in his hand as he slumped against the wall, sliding to sit down as his laughter and chuckles faded.

Of course. A demon god for a demon. Prince of Maddness. No one would ever guess.

She watches him in silence, looking scared but slowly leaning foreward and hugging him,"... Sorry if i touch you too much," she mumbles... Hugging this red eyed boy tightly...

Shen stiffens once again from her touch. What was it with nobles? Or her? But nonetheless he hesitantly and awkwardly put his arms around her, hugging her back. He'd never been hugged before. It was... Weird. "I'm not used to it." Was all he said with a bit of a shrug. Man this was awkward

She laughs and pulls away, sitting in front of him," But... Promise you won't turn all crazy psycho killer on me?" She holds out her hand to shake bis

He raised an eyebrow at her and that shadow smile came back as he hesitantly shook her hand, his own rough with calluses. "I'll try, but no promises. Fair enough?"

She nods with a grin and shuffles back to her blanket," Good night again... I suppose," she grins and looks at him

He nods back to her and takes his old sleep area that was sort of near her and sort of not, laying down and falling asleep quickly. What a mad day this was turning into. Laughing? Laughing AND chatting?!

Fae fell asleep easily, despite her uneasiness of being alone with a demon of madness. Ya know, that kinda crap.

Fae awoke early the next morning, she looked at the helm which still lowed softly... Atleast she hadnt died durig the night...

Shen wasn't even in his blankets. He was standing out in the balcony again, only sitting this time and meditating. He had been glad that Fae wasn't touching him when he awoke. It made him uncomfortable. With his eyes shut and silent as ever, he meditated.

She looks at him and rubs her eyes, wondering silently where vires and the others has gone and when they would be back

Eh, up to you. They would make an interesting couple since Shen is so cold and bloody silent while Fae is warm and mega touchy feely XD))

Shen heard her stirring finally and glanced back. He nodded to her and got up. They were gonna need some food. Shen walked back into the house and looked around for something to eat. He was starving

Se tries to sit up but quickly feels a wave of dizziness push her back down. She moans in pain and covers her eyes... It was way too bright....

Shen hears and frowns, walking over. "Careful." He warned. "You beed rest." He said. She had been extremely banged up. Even with that damned helm it would've taken time to heal fully.

Fae just huffs in reply, her eyes closing dizzily," I don't... Ah... Never mind..." She whispers

Shen rolls his eyes and continues his search. He is rewarded with some dried meat and jugs of water. He fills two glasses and heads over to Fae, handing her a cup and a strip of dried venison. "Eat." He said before devouring his piece

She looks up and takes the meat greatfully, literally inhalig the food... It was as if she hadnt eaten in days," Thanks.." She mumbles
