He shuffles them in his hands, moving each one to where they sat upright and were neatly stacked. He looks at her and tilts an eyebrow.

"... Whats that?" She asks softly, frowning

He spreads them out in his hand and holds them up, "Something a friend gave me. She liked to stitch, so she made pictures on hides for me."

Despite her instincts screaming at her to not go any closer but she scooted closer to try to see

He doesn't lean down, but moves his hands down for her to see the pictures closer, "This ones my favorite," he passively muses while shuffling it to the front, the mellow colors showing a tower with a green dragon wrapped around it.

She frowns and mumbles,"... Dragons...?"

"Every card has a meaning." He mumbles to her while shuffling it back behind a few others. He turns them all upside down and holds them out to her, the back face up. "Pick one."

The assassin stares at him untrustingly for a long time before plucking a card from his hand quickly..

He gives her an amused look, as if he were a teacher teaching his young pupil something new. The dark brown wagon stared back up at her from the leather, the horses in front of it a dark black. "HmMm."

" whats this one mean?" She asks with a small frown

[Light]

"Normally it would mean direction, but it seems you have drawn it upside down." He leans back and rubs his chin thoughtfully, "Which means you need to rethink what direction you're heading in. Or something like that,"

She bares her teeth at him," I bet thats bull shit!" She snaps

[Light]

"Think what you want." He shrugs his shoulders and stands up, snatching the card back from her. "I don't care either way."

She glares at him and once again back away into the farthest place the chains on her ankles would allow,"... So can you just torture me and get it over with?"

[Light]

"I could," he drawls lazily, his voice dipping low, "and I might just do that."

[CrimsonMoon]

" finally..." She growls, stiffening

[Light]

"You're creepy," He scowls turning back to her. He bends down and pulls out her knife that he confiscated last night.

" well.. Isny that expected?" She counters, glaring up at him

He puts his chin in the palm of his head as he kneels by her. "Not really. I'm actually... New to this, ya know?"
