That night Ronin dialed the number Kris had given him. It took a few minutes--and a few incorrect calls--to remember the number. Finally, though, he was pretty sure he'd gotten the right one. He just had to wait for the voicemail to find out.

The voicemail was pretty generic.

"The number you have dialed is currently unavailable. If you would like to leave a message, please wait until the-"

"Hello?"

Okay, so it wasn't as generic. The voice who had answered was out of breath, as if he had ran a marathon, though really he looked like he had just woke up, considering his wild bed head, the twitch in his eye, and the fact that he was wearing boxers.

Then again, the naked guy in his bed currently stretching out and groping the empty side of the mattress looking for something- or someone, and I think we all know who that is now- could state otherwise.

"Hi... this is Ronin," he said, but he wasn't sure he'd given his name earlier, so he added, "The guy from earlier. Seyong's brother."

He hummed in acknowledgement, looking at himself in the mirror.

"I have my message for him," he said. "Did you want to... write it down or something?"

"Uh, yeahh... Um. Yup. Yep. Yeah." He looked around with a frown before leaping toward a pen, snatching it up and holding out his hand. "Yup, okay, got it. Message?"

"Tell him..." Ronin started, but he hadn't planned out his message and he was at a loss for words. "Just tell him that I missed him, I'm sorry, and I hope he gets better soon. And to stay away from those saesu-whatsits."

"Saesang." He corrected with a distracted voice, for once not blushing as he wrote down the message on his palm. He nodded; he'd commit it to memory. "Alright, is that all?" He bit his lip. He really needed to take a shower.

Ronin was silent for a moment, thinking. Then he said, "Yeah, I guess. I'll see you around... maybe."

"Yup!" He hung up then and glared at himself in the mirror before facepalming and entering the bathroom to shower, the man in his bed momentarily forgotten.

Ronin hung up the phone and pulled it away from his ear to stare at it for a moment. Was it just him, or had that been a really weird conversation? He shook his head slightly and put the cordless phone down. Strange, but he kind of hoped that he would see Kris again. Something about him intrigued him.
