He blinks and chuckles," thank you... You are too kind..." He murmurs, sliding his backpack onto his shoulders again..

"Alright, let's go, go, go!" She giggled and bounced alongside him. Every simple step he took were five bounces from her.

Parking her car alongside the place where he was staying, she smiled gently at him. "Now, remember: 7 AM sharp. I suggest setting an alarm an hour earlier than that."

" Alright, thank you," he chirps, looking even more exhausted. He had given her a fake hotel he had looked up before hand but was close to Central Park where he'd truely be staying. Dante opens the care door and steps out, waving faintly and silently praying she wouldnt find out he was literally homeless

She smiled at him and got out of the car. "I'll help you carry your things inside." She opened the back car door, pulling out some bags.

" Oh uhm... No thanks, it's fine," he starts /dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit-/

"No, no, you look tired and I want to help. It's what we do in this business- You have to make friends, otherwise you won't last long." She smiled a bit and entered the hotel. "Do you have your key?"

He hangs back and calls," Wa-wait a second please..."

She stopped a few feet from the front desk, turning and looking at him with confusion.

" I..." He frowns and closes his eyes," I'm not actually staying here.." He starts carefully

She raised an eyebrow. "You're not? Then why..."

" I dont want you to pity me," he mumbles, slowly closing his eyes

She frowned. "You'll learn in this city that pity is rare." She bounced over to him and rested a long nailed hand on his shoulder. "We're friends now. We take care of each other. So if you need somewhere to stay... Speak now."

He pauses, pride and helplessness battling it out in his chest," i... Yes.." He frowns and hangs his head

She nodded and patted his chest. "Alright. I'll pay for a room for you." She turned and approached the front desk, taking care of all the necessary things before she took the key and handed it to him. "There."

He hesitantly takes the key and smiles nervously and apologetically," I'm sorry.." He began

She shook her head. "Stop. I don't want to hear it. I'm just glad that now you'll be able to have somewhere to stay." She smiled at him. Once they had his things put away in the room, she patted his shoulder and left. "7 AM." She called over her shoulder as a reminder before shutting the door behind herself. She was a big girl; she'd be able to make it back home on her own.

The next morning, at 6:59 sharp, the beauty who sat behind the red cherry desk was looking at his secretary with narrowed eyes. "Is he here yet?"

"Erm..." She shifted uncomfortably and walked to the door, opening it quietly and looking outside. Dante wasn't necessarily supposed to report to the office, but her boss had a strange way of spying without spying.

" Yes sir, i'm here," A familiar voice muses softly, Dante stepped through the door looking a bit anxty, he wore a clean white shirt and black pants, he looked cleaner then before a nicer... Thank go for hotel showers

He nodded. "Get to work." He turned back to his computer, and the secretary led Dante out.

"Let me show you your cubicle..."
