Cloud stumbles backwards like a small doll, her eyes red and overflowing with tears, "Da-A-dy," she pitifully wails, "Don't leave---!"

You always did take your time --she whispers before he fell into darkness.

"Don't go..." She takes a few more unsure steps backwards following Caoi, her features frozen.

Caoi grabs er arm and drags her mentor back toward the stair well, She forced down her own emotions and focused on sprinting/falling down the stairs... The building groaning.

Outside, Erin was staring up at the hospital, gaze blank though tears had begun to appear green eyes, a battle hound whining next to him

Luminere waited at the bottom of the stairs, his brown eyes clouded with sadness, but glowing with acception, as if he knew, and had known.

Cloud lets out a choked sob, "I-I need, air," she trips over an arm--too numb to think and be sorry for the person caught in the blast--she falls forward, and Luminere catches her and quickly begins towards the exit. "Daddy," she whimpers again and again.

The hospital groans like a fallen giant as it crumbles in a huge cloud of dust..

Erin slowly approaches them and hugged his siter tightly, his gaze stony and blank like a mask though a. Tear had trembled down his cheek...

Caoi stood back, watching in silence

Luminere takes a step back as well, his eyes downcast...

"Er-Rin," she hiccups, her voice scratchy. "Daddies gone," her breath catches and she clings to him, her arms around his neck, "Gone,"

Erin just buries his nose into her hair, hugging her tightly,"... I know," he croaks softly, a battle hound circling them restlessly

"Don't leave," she begs as she cries into his shoulder, "I can't--Lose you and Udolf, not to anything, not to anyone. I don't wanna lose anyone again. Hurts Erin." She shudders with a cough, "Hurts."

He strokes her hair softly, unable to answer due to the knot in his throat... He HATED this WAR... His grief taken over by hopeless anger... Udolf had worked so hard to get them a year of peace, then the 'Lions' had appeared and killed Snow... Then Itami and Mom died... Then the angels appeared... What else...? What ELSE could the universe kill them with?

Laughter bubbles from Cloud, her shoulders shaking as the desolate sound leaves her. Helpless--so damn helpless. She continues to laugh, the hollow tone becoming saturated with as much grief as was reflected in her eyes, until it turned back into sobbing. How sweet would revenge taste to her right now, she wondered.

Erin just strokes her hair ligjtly and murmurs softly to her,".... We gotta win this war...."

She bobs her head up and down, "We are gonna win this war."

He smiles faintly and ruffles her hair," Come on... Lets go find Udolf... Ok?" He murmurs

She tilts her head up and rubs her eyes, "Okay," she readily agrees, "I haven't seen him, or heard one of his cheesy speeches today,"

" Cheesy speeches are good speeches," he reminds her, starting to lead his sister away

Caoi watches from where she sat cross-legged on a pile of rubble, swaying faintly as she hummed absently

Udolf was trembling alone on that roof top, he had dugs his nails so deeply into his palms that blood had begun to flow... He struggled to keep the water from bursting the pipes but henwas so exhausted...

Cloud follows him, tossing her doctors coat on the ground without a care, "He knows I love cheesy," she says in a matter-of-fact tone. She quickens her pace to a few steps ahead of him.

Lumi was farther in the rubble, moving the huge rocks as he searched around for anyone, and anything.

Caoi watches the siblings disappear before crawling over to Lumi, brushing the dust from her hair,"... You ok?" She asks softly, poke his arm

"mm" He grunts, picking up a broken cane. He sets it aside and grips another rock, "Fine."

She hums and works beside him,"... You don't sound ok..."
