Calix gave a subtle nod and casually turned the corner, hands in his pockets.

His phone buzzed again, this time a phone call

He pulled out the cell and answered the call, "Hello?" Eren spoke softly, but clearly.

" Sorry, uhm, drug bust and... Uhm... Yeah, sorry... I don't think i cleaned up very well. Avoid 2nd and Cornel Ave... There's too many cops there, go home... Sorry..."

"Are you alright?" Eren murmured, glancing around, "I heard some Easts and I'm pretty sure they were talking about you."

" They probably think i got caught or you turned me in or something... I'm not sure whether it'd be safer for you at home or with the police right now... Sorry," in the background of her call there were faint sirens

She sighs and murmurs," Sorry... I probably shoulda just skipped this town.." The pulls the phone away from her ear and lets it hang loosely as she glances out the tinted windows of the cruiser at the crime scene and frowns
