She glances at him with a tiny smile just as the door slides shut behind him

Chance was used to being poked and prodded, but he felt more nervous than usual as he was led down the hall to the Observatory. He didn't want to be forced to do this with anyone, even though he liked Rosemary. But he'd never thought about that before.

Rosemary had been placed in the far side of the Observatory, the whole course having been outitted to represent a small valley with hundreds of tunnels beneath the stones and forest. She sat on a small out cropping wearing the clothes they had supplied to her as well as a blanket and food. She wore a white t-shirt and was wrapped in a black jacket, as well as jeans. She had never worn pants before... Always little hospital gowns... She hugged her knees and stares across the pseudo-valley.. She could here little creatures creeping around,"... Chance..." She mumbles and buries her face in her arms... She didnt exactly... Want this...

The doors opened with a fizz of compressed air and Chance stepped in, glancing around uncertainly, "Am I supposed to find her in here as well?"

One of the scientists nodded, looking down at his clipboard, "It shouldn't be too hard and we don't expect you to take long. She's already waiting."

She blinks wen she hears te odd sound of machinery in the quiet 'natural' enviroment, she froze... Would he just go ahead with this whole thing..? It'd be safer if she could observe him and make sure he wasnt hell bent on following the program.

Rosemary zips up her jacket to conceal the white shirt, grabbing the blanket and jumping down, hidin in the shadows of one of the caves..

Chance looked around the familiar environment and sighed. He didn't want to father a child, at least not right now. He barely knew anything about the world and hadn't even experienced it. Were they just going to keep him locked in this place for breeding? He'd always assumed that he could go outside one day, but now he wasn't so sure.

He headed into the wooded area, pushing through plants and stepping over roots. Part of him didn't want to find Rosemary, fearing what would happen if he did. Would they force them to mate if they didn't do so willingly?

" Are you scared too?" The voice asks softly. Rosemary had wrapped herself in the blanket and leaned against the cave wall, closin her eyes and praying her blue skin didnt give her away to any other 'experiments'

He nearly jumped in shock at hearing a soft, but distinct voice. Chance looked around, his hazel eyes wide, "Rosemary?" he whispered.

" Don't you remember how i talked to you through the cell walls?" The voice murmurs tiredly," So... What can we do..?"

"I don't know," Chance replied, his voice sounding small, "I don't want this. It doesn't feel right."

"... Do you have enough food?" The voice asks softly, a tone of sadness overtaking it..0

"They didn't give me anything when I came in," Chance replied, glancing around. The coast was clear for now, "They just told me to find you."

" What?! Where are you?!" Her eyes snap open and she sits up quickly

"Oh, you know, just in the forest," Chance sighed and looked up at the trees, "I started looking cause that's what they expect me to do."

She stands and walks to the entrance of the cave," Uhmmm.... I'm.. In frint of a cave..." She frowns a bit

"I'm too afraid of what might happen if I find you," Chance replied, a fearful note in his voice.

" I don't think they'd force us..." She murmurs, climbing high and sitting on a flat boulder," Can you see me yet?"

Chance continued his trek, watching as scenery changed around him. It was like its own bio-dome in the Observatory, with a myriad of different habitats, "I..think I see a cave up ahead."

She huffs and stands, bouncing on her toes," If yo see a bouncing blue person thats me!!" She howls these words, hoping he would hear her

Her movements did catch Chance's eye and he chuckled softly, "Okay, yes, I see you," he told her as he headed toward the cave.
