Chance knew he wouldn't fall asleep quickly. The Observatory was notoriously dangerous and he couldn't take that chance.

As Rosemary nodded off, her arms slid around his waist and she weakly hugged him..

The artificial 'sun' provided little light, Pluto being so far from the TRUE sun was that natural light on pluto was rare. the scientists had merely magnified what little light they had by two times and provided lighting like constant dusk.

Rosemary awoke slowly, her eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness of the cave... Chance..?

He was slumped beside her, head leaned back against the wall of the cave. He slept silently, his expression peaceful.

She smiles faintly settling back ahainst him as she cast out her senses... Water... They needed water... Actually.... HE needed water

Chance's fingers twitched slightly at her movements. His nose wrinkled just the slightest and he exhaled, falling back into sleep.

Rosemary purses her lips and frowns... There was a stream far beneath their feet... But they had no light... And there were other creatures gathered there... She glances at him and feels a bit lighter, he could sleep for a while longer

Chance always found sleep to be an odd experience. He was never fully unconscious, his mind floating like it had when he was in the tank. It was an in between place where he existed, nothing more. He couldn't speak or move, just observe. Sleep never seemed to affect his body either. He'd been tested, having to stay awake for three days in a row, and nothing changed. He didn't become sluggish or weak like humans. His body seemed to keep itself healthy without the need to rest. His eyes flickered beneath his eyelids as he relaxed.

Rosemary glances at him, forcing herself to move from er stiff, comfortable position and slide free of the blanket... She dispised how the scientists had wanted a 'Super Super NATURAL Birth' of two non-natural... Experiments... She frowns and rubs er face, What if the only way they could get out of here was if they.. She makes a small sound in her throat and closes her eyes.. Ugh

The movement combined with her noise made him stir and Chance sat up, blinking. He didn't even look sleepy, like any human would, "Rosemary? You okay?"

She glances at him amd smiles weakly," Uhm... Yeah," she murmurs and grins slightly," hungry..?"

Chance pursed his lips in thought and nodded, "Yes, I guess I am. Sometimes it's hard to tell."

She reaches out and pats his head with a small smile, a tiny smile curling her lips as she reaces across his legs and opens the bag she had been given

Chance cracked his knuckles and watched her, already awake as if he hadn't been asleep moments ago.

She glances at him over her shoulder and grins, pulling out a small packet of dehydrated bread out... But you merely need to expose the substance to oxygen and POOF! Bread.

" Have you had 'bred' before?"

He nodded, "Yes, they've given me bread. I usually have it with most meals."

She tilts her head and tears open the packet," Is it good?" She asks, glancing at him

He blinked, "It's pretty good. Nothing special."

" Oh..." She frowns and shrugs helplessly," I've never had it before.."
