Snow ricocheted off of the plane, the heavey lumps sticking to its frame. They seemed to be moving slower as they traveled farther, but the other passenger didn't concern themself with that. She kept her feet up in the seat across from her with several blankets wrapped around her burrito-style. In her hands, she was scratching away at a paper with a pen, ever so often stopping to scratch her scalp with the point and getting ink in her hair. She avoided th ships condiments and only made any noise when she was humming or talking about everything to no one in particular.

She and the other passenger had not ever met before, but were shoved on a plane because they had the same goal, and were looking for the same thing.

Atlantis.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

The young man leaned over to peer out the window, his face lined with worry. He hated flying, he always had, but he put up with it when he had to. This trip had been one of those times, but he hadn't signed up to fly through a snowstorm. He glanced over at his fellow passenger, who didn't seem to be concerned in the least. How was that possible?

[Light]

Her grayed brown hair was pulled back in a pony tail, the frayed ends sticking outwards. Setting her book down she glances out the window and moves one of the covers off of her and reaches for a water bottle. Looking over at the nervous male she smiles, the corners of her eyes crinkling with entertainment. "First time out in weather like this?"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

He shook his head. "No," he replied. "But I don't think I'll ever get used to it." The plane dipped at an air pocket and his fingers tightened around the armrests. "Is this really worth it?" he muttered to himself.

[Light]

"It's pretty easy," she leans back and twists the cap open, "and it's most definitely worth it. You won't get far in this field kid if you don't take risks."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

He gave her a sharp glance. "Don't call me kid," he said. "I'm not a kid."

[Light]

"You are to me, kiddo," she laughs and shakes the water bottle at him, "Loosen up, don't be such a crab."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

He sighed and closed his eyes as the plane dropped. "It's hard to be cheerful right now. At least for me."

[Light]

She shrugs her shoulders a bit, "We'll be in and out kid, like the food in that one burger place called In-and-Out." turning her head she squints her eyes, "What is that...?" she wonders, "Hm."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

His eyes sprang open. "What?" he asked, following her gaze.

[Light]

"Looks like a huge ball of fur or s--" the ship rocks wildly this time, as if a huge ball of hand had swatted a fly. She grips her seat and leans back into the cushion, "Either the storms getting worse.."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

He looked around wildly, his body stiff as a board. "Oh, God," he murmured.

(Wow... I still haven't created by charrie for this. Maybe I should do that)

[Light]

The ship swings again, and the lights flicker. A few of the bulbs burst, and the emergency lights glow red.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

(I'm gonna go do that now)

He looked around wildly, his adam's apple bobbing. "What's going on?"

[Light]

"We're losing altitude," she cries out as the ship shakes again, "Close your mouth and hold on tight...!"
