The Russian's cell phone suddenly buzzed with a phone call, and on the other end, the friend who Alexsander had spoken with at the apartment was hiding behind the couch with a terrified look on his face, home phone pressed against his ear as he tried to ignore the crashing and shattering of god knows what in the living room and kitchen. Ashley had thrown a huge fit that ended up with a… well, disaster.

"O-Okay." He hung up the phone, peeking over the edge of the couch before shouting and hiding again as something smashed and sprayed everywhere on the wall. Probably a coke bottle.

There was no more crashing, no more shouting. It was silence- which was even more eery. Leaning against the back of the kitchen wall, with a bottle in his hand, he stared ahead of himself while the burn of the alcohol slid down his throat. Ah... Much better. He didn't want to see Alex- He'd throw the bottle at his head.
"I know you're pissed, but this isn't the way to go about it. Your poor friend didn't do anything, but you act like you want to kill him and destroy the apartment," Alex spoke in a calm, controlled manner.
Alex hesitantly approached the kitchen, "I know. You blame me and I completely understand. But I didn't leave because I wanted to- quite the opposite, really."

He yawned and looked up at him with tired eyes. "Even if you didn't leave on your own will, you could have still called or something. You just up and left without even a notice." He sighed and stumbled to get onto his feet, facing him. "That was a deusche thing to do."
"I know," Alex ran a ragged hand down his face, "I wanted to, but every time I thought I had free time, I didn't. So much was going on and I was so busy. By the time I realized it, so much time had passed."
Alex sighed and reached out, grabbing Ashley's hand, "Ash, please, I didn't do it on purpose. You know that running a country is not exactly the easiest job in the world. On top of that, I had to make sure Luca made it to New York alright and all of that. Things have been stressful and I'm trying to juggle it all."
