"Because I trust you and Kibō to will care of the bad guys," she turns her head and presses her cheek against the small head pillow, "They won't be able to sneak up on us."

Xena chuckles softly,"... Yeah... I suppose,"

[Light]

She beams happily and rubs the top of her red nose with a finger, "Yeah, there are alarms and stuff so--" the sound of fireworks fill the air, and she turns her head back to the balcony, the bright red warning lights coming from the field surrounding the city. "Like that," she gasps.

Xena blinks and looks up,"... What does that mean?" She asks softly

[Light]

Kitto pushes herself up into a sitting position with a cough, "Someone tried to pass the mine field and failed. We have explosives set up around the perimeter,"

[CrimsonMoon]

"... So it could be anyone," she reasons softy

[Light]

"Any enemy," she starts to stand, "Kibō needs his weapon, it must be the dead lords people. Who else would it be,"

[CrimsonMoon]

" who now?" Xena can't help but sigh... The titles these people gave themselves

[Light]

She picks up a long brown box and stands, stacking two katanas on top of it. "Lord Daifuku's ally--his own people are too far north and being held back by another squad. His cousin must have come to join the fight."

[CrimsonMoon]

" Fine, i got this... Kido's probably out there already, yes?"

[Light]

"Yes," she nods her head and holds out the gathered weapons, "Im sorry to ask you to bear this burden... Please take these to him, he'll be in the main tower readying the mech launch."

[CrimsonMoon]

" You make me work so hard," she teases but takes the katanas and begins to walk out

[Light]

"Sorry," she apologizes again with a sneeze, "The most I'm good for... Is talking to." She mumbles to herself, watching her friend leave.

Xena smiles reassuringly over her shoulder before hurrying toward where she had last seen Kido... it was unlikely he was there but..

[Light]

Kibō was no longer in the halls, the only people running up and down the passageways soldiers. There were lights burning in the towers though, sentry mecha firing warning flares to alert other sections of the city.

Se finally gives up, holding the Katanas close, she runs to the roof and presses her pendant... The large white mecha's armor slapping on around her...

[Light]

Several mecha's launch from the wall, the shuddering shells exploding to life as they burst forward onto the battlefield. Kibō had no waited, and was in one of the small bulky machines with the rest. Rockets flew towards the castle, but they intercepted it with rounds of their own.

The small armor that the new lord was in huddled forward on the field, firing its rifle. The shots exploded on contact when they hit the enemies neck--the weakspot--killing the pilot and destroying the weapon.

The white emcha rises from the roof of the castle, spinning a slow circle as it takes in its surroudings...

[Light]

The outer edges of the border were ablaze where the landlines had gone off. The enemy had pushed through it, with the Raimon holding them back and pushing them into more explosives.

The white mecha floats high into the sky above the field, listening to the chatter of an unfamiliar language but hoping she could find him...
