She slows down, keeping her fan in front of her face and her eyes straight forward as she approaches her father, "Honorable father." she addresses him politely, the title as her voice. "I wish to speak to you." He turns around and seems just as subdued around her as his son--even more-so though, having a feeling that she is about to demand something from him.

"Yes, Kitto, you have my ears and attention..."

Xena watches the old man quietly, her lips a thin line and her gaze hard

"Me and my friend," she flourishes her from arm to Xena, "are in need of some of the space within this facility."

His gaze turns to Xena, his frown deepening. "Kitto... you know that women are not allowed to work in here. Let alone be in here," She bares her teeth in a smile behind her fan.

" Your Lordship, It seems i was very good at being a man, so why not be a woman who acts like a man?" Xena couters gently, imitating her boy voice for a moment.. And it HAD grown convincing ovenight...

"It's uncouth." he glowers at Xena, "Just like the wes-"

"Just like how you drink sheep' blood, thinking it'll cure old age?" her daughter lightly quips, interrupting his comment.

" Ah! And how does that taste, your majesty? My people do not dare drink blood for the clots usually cause heart attacks," Xena hums faintly

"Oh dear!" Kitto turns to Xena, fanning herself, "How, surprising, did you hear that, father?" she smiles menacingly, saying it as if she had already told him, and he did not listen.

He bites his cheek a bit, the veins in his neck bulging, "Kitto..." he says in a warning tone before gripping his fists, "You can have the bottom floor,"

The girl stares at him angrily, her nose twitching.

" Sir.. If you wish to have my technology for no payment, i expect the BEST floor, your highness," she smiles sweetly," I may be a westerner, your highness, but I am not giving up my secrets in the basement of, for all i could know, a former funeral home." She steps up toward him, knowing the risk but not caring," It stinks of death here. I can stop it."

"It stinks of more than just death," Kitto adds angrily, "The bottom floor is where the furnaces are! You seek to keep your hands clean and let the heat kill her! I will NOT allow such treatment of my friend, dearest father."

"You... Watch your tongue! I've tolerated your requests one after the other, but this is ridiculous! How do we know you're not here to just spy on us, you filthy westerner! You can be in league with any of the other clans, why should we trust you?"

In that instant, she angrily steps straight up to him," Do you HONESTLY think a westerner is stupid enough to come here as a spy?! I stick out enough, you idiotic old goat!!" She snarls, her green eyes flashing with fury," You may be Lord here but what could i possibly gain from just working on a mecha in a workshop!!" Xena draws herself up, her teeth bared like a wolf's

" You may be old, 'Lord', but you are stupider then an infant." She whispers

His eyes slowly turn back to his daughter, his pupils narrowed, "You--" he takes in a deep breath, and Kitto suddenly seems to tense, "Have you forgotten what they did to us? To your mother? You are just going to put your trust in this disgusting woman?"

Her blue eyes glow, and she grips her fan, "...I am, Father. It is... as she said. You are being foolish right now. It would be in your best interest if you left now, and cooled your head." Her voice strains, her nose reddening, "Before I take care of it for you."

Xena stares down at him and murmurs in a deadly calm voice only loud enough for te Lord to hear,"... Everyone is evil, my lord... Look into yourself and see the darkness..."

He snarls at her before whipping around, storming out of the hall and up the stairs, "Find what space they will give--for I have nothing to give to you!"

She watches him leave with a frown before turning away and staring at his throne," A new age has come, and when that day comes, i hope your heart can take it." She murmurs, turning quickly

Kitto quickly walks away, her back to the throne and her head tilted down, "Let us go and see what space we can get for you,"

Xena glances back and hurries after her with a smile

Kitto slaps her fan shut, staring at a medium amount of space with a solemn look, "third to the top floor. I'm sorry, but this is the best that I can get for you."

" It's alright," Xena murmurs, setting her bundle down," This is more then enough space," she glances aroud and slides open a window, gazing out and frowning slightly

Kitto slowly sits down on a cushion fixed on the ground, "How long will you be down here?" She asks like a small child, vying for time to play.
