Robin was startled for a moment, almost dropping his plate of french toast. When he realized she was frightened by the sounds of the cartoon he almost laughed. "Its okay its just the Tv." he explained with a tint of amusement in his voice. "Don't you know what a tv is? The sounds and pictures it makes aren’t real or actually happening right now."
Robin shrugged "I'll put something nicer one." he flipped through the channels until he found the movie The Lion King. It was at the part were Timon and Pumba had just found Simba "there is that better?" he asked.
Robin chuckled and relaxed, quickly eating his food. He got up and but the dishes in the sink before returning to the couch. He was glad they were past the part where Mufasa died, he didn't think he would be able to handle it if she started to get really emotional over it. Heck he used to cry when he was little during that part, his eyes would stilly get a little misty.
Robin, catching her confused look, quickly launched into and detailed explanation of the first half of the movie. He hoped to clear away any confusion so she could enjoy the rest of the movie.
After he was done explaining it he sat back and relaxed, watching the movie with a content smile. He probably would of slept longer if he didn't have company. He also would have lounged around all day. In fact he was dozing off when the movie ended
She did her best to turn the TV off to let him sleep, then with the white board wrote down a phone number then slipped out of his house with nothing but what she was brought in.
Robin successfully slept for hours. He woke around seven at night. He blinked sleep away from his eyes and than sprang to his feet. "I slept all day?!" he exclaimed to himself furiously. He tripped over the whiteboard but caught himself before he fell. Bending down and picking it up he looked it over and smiled faintly. "Now how is a girl who hasn't spoken in years supposed to answer a phone call." he muttered to himself humorously. It was probably her cell, which meant he could text her.
Robin sighed and got ready for the night. He took a shower and then threw on jeans and a black t-shirt with a navy blue hoodie over it. And with that he left his apartment. He was in the mood to go for a run, but not as a human. Robin made his way to the large park which had a huge forest in it. When he was safly hidden within the forest he shifted. Sometimes it was annoying being a snow leopard, especially when it was hot out. But it was a chilly evening so he was comfortable as he made his way through the woods.
There was the sound of squishing snow behind him, as if someone was coming up from behind, their shoes sinking into the snow, more precisely, her shoes. A black and white figure came into view, long white hair wavy and flowed down to just above her midriff. Her dazzling blue eyes glanced around, and when they fell upon his body, she froze. She had on white jeans tucked into black riding boots, a tight fitting peacoat wrapped around her torso and down to mid-thigh. she had a pin holding her bangs to one side of her face. a large black wolf stood beside her, brushing against her leg, as if protectively. Once it saw the leopard it dashed forward and up to it to see if it was friend or foe.
Robin froze for a moment, shocked to see her. When the wolf came rushing up Robin's ears pressed flat against his head and he bared his teeth, his thick fur standing up making him look twice his size. Robin didn't like dogs at all and wolves he despised even more. Something to do with instincts or something. His eyes glanced from the wolf back to her. He had no clue what to do. It wasn't like he was in the mountains where he could just run and disappear. Sure he blended into the snow very well but still he was in the middle of the city.
The wolf growled and pinned its ears back due to the harsh response. The black wolf stood up straight, his fur prickling and he circled the snow leopard. She walked closer until she stepped behind the wolf. due to the fact she didn't speak she smiled at the leopard and held out her hand as a greeting, a small piece of raw meat in the center of her palm, roughly larger than a fancy steak.
Robin watched the wolf circle. They were about the same size. His tail fluffy tail whipped back and forth and he let out a low growling sound. His eyes flickered to the meat when it was brought out. He stalked forward slowly, an eye on the wolf and smelled the piece of meet. Whiskers pushed forward as well as ears and he curiously looked over the food.
It was fresh, no chemicals added, freshly killed, and smelled like deer meat, they were common in these woods. She watched him sniff at the meat, she smiled, the wolf stopping within view of the leopard.
He glanced at the wolf then back at the meat and quickly grabbed it, careful not to bite her fingers He retreated a few steps before he consumed the meat quickly. When he was done he licked his lips and crouched looking at the both of them. Did she know who he was?
