He frowned,"never mind, I have a substitute" he said softly before getting out of bed, pulling on sweats and leaving the room. He wouldnt admit it but he was hurt by her distaste of his lifestyle. He didn't chose this either, but it's how he lived, and its how she would have to live now as well.
She frowned, watching him go. She knew he wanted her to hunt with him. But the thought of killing something living and draining it's blood? It made her brain go crazy and her stomach do flips. She looked down at her lap and sighed. This really sucked. No pun intended. She got up off the bed and started getting dressed in her clothes from the previous day. Clothes that could get dirty. Well, more dirty.
She shook her head. "You know. Its really not fair. You acting all sad because the thought of drinking blood or killing disgusts me. This is my second day as a vampire. You've been doing it for centuries. I think I deserve a little more credit. I didn't say no to hunting. But it doesn't mean I have to like it. Not yet anyways." She said, crossing her arms.
"You! Frowning after what I said! I don't deserve that. It wasn't my choice to ever come here. It wasn't my choice to become a vampire! You chose both times! But I stayed. After I decided what was best for myself I stayed. I can be disgusted by blood if I want! Its going to take some time for me to get used to it!" She exclaimed, not sounding angry but her voice got a little louder.
He frowned again,"Its not like I chose this either, I was turned against my will! I saved you, thats all I was trying to do, at least your shift was painless! And I did that because I love you and I dont want you to die" he said before blushing, setting down the drinks and walking out.
She was at his side in a second, taking hold of his wrist. "I never said you chose this life. But you've been doing it ALOT longer than me. You're used to it. I'm not. I'm going to need time to adjust. Just as you needed time I'm sure. And I appreciate you keeping it painless. And saving my life. But that doesn't mean I'm going to love the thought or idea of blood." She murmured, looking at him. She breathed in a deep breath, her cheeks reddening. "And... I love you too." She said, her voice cracking slightly.
She brought his chin up with her free hand to look him in the face. "I don't give a sh*t what you are. It's not about that. It's about me, killing for blood. Not you." She said. Had he even heard her say that she loved him too? She released his chin and wrist, hoping he'd understand what she meant.
