Ayla's holograph phone rang a moment later; Dallas was finished with his homework and wanted to talk with his buddy.

She picks up the phone and answers as she opens the window,"... Hello?" She answers, looking across campus to the boys' wing

David appeared, grinning coyly at her. "Hi, bud," he said with a smile.

David grinned. "Just got out," the little image said, moving towards the mini fridge in his apartment. "We learned how to speak so well that almost anybody will pay attention and agree!"

He chuckled. "Okay. Hello, my name is David -- and I am here to share with you the pros and come of Ayla coming to the spring dance with me. Other than my dashingly good looks, I am kind to Ayla and I know she is attracted to me," he said with a flirtatious grin. "So, what do you say?"

The Rose Maze was one of three garden mazes surrounding the campus. There was the Daisy, Lilac and the most eautiful, Rose Maze which was used as a final test where future KT Thanes would be randomly placed in the mazes and hae to find and knock out their opponents... But the Rose maze was notorious for romantic evenings

David grinned boyishly. "Certainly," he said. He winked at her and then hung up, glad that his tactic had worked.

She grins and waits until thecall was offline before squeaking with delight and grabbin her jacket from her wardrobe, pushing the key into her pocket and opening the door, closing it quietly

David was already strolling quickly towards the Rose Garden, planning to give the girl a clipped rose as a present.

She hurries down to the gardens, her eyes darting to and fro as she searched for security guards that might stop her. She reaches the gardens, sitting on te stone bench just at the entrance

David snuck up behind her and covered her eyes gently. "Guess who," he whispered in her ear.

She giggles and puts her hands over his," God?" He laughs, leanig back into him

"Not quite," he said, taking his hands off and putting a flower in her hair. "How are you?"

She smiles and leans bac to look at him," I'm good, i'm getting good grades and make new friends... What about you?" She asks and sways, touching the blossum delicately

"I'm learning to be a Thane, I'm getting decent grades, and the other guys and I have special permission to go to town this weekend," he grinned. "Life's pretty good."

She grins up at him and scoots over, patting the stone bench," Are you going to join the Army?" She asks, humming happily.. Life WAS good..
