Colden kissed his mouth, stroking his face, "You won't be uncomfortable? I mean, speaking from experience, a raging hard-on isn't exactly the most comfortable thing in the world."
"Please remember that I've had a hard-on for three months before." He chuckled again. "No, it won't be especially comfy, but I won't be like an animal. I can handle it. Then again..." Asher paused. "You are my mate, so it could be different. But.."
"I am willing to try if that's what you'd like to do," Colden kissed his nose and grinned, moving so that he was sitting beside Asher instead of on him.
"I know..." He frowned. "We need to talk to that guy." He propped himself up on his elbows, brow furrowed. "Okay, one thing we need to get straight - are you only mine, or do I have to share you with him?"
"Oh, you're talking about Kiel," Colden murmured sheepishly and rubbed his face. He knew they'd be having this discussion sooner or later, "You don't have to share me in that sense. Kiel and I are acquaintances, I talk with him often. But our sexual exchanges have been minimal. It was never anything serious, just someone to be close to when one of us was feeling lonely. So, no, you don't have to share me."
Later That Day He had cooked, set up the room with candles, the curtains drawn aside to expose the light of a gleaming sunset. He finished with everything and gently stroked Colden's hair from his face. Asher's voice was quiet. "Colden, baby, you have to get up now."
He rubbed his face and sat up, instinctively touching his chest. There was a distinct absence and it made him snap into awareness immediately, "My necklace," he blurted, looking around the room with wide eyes, "Where is it?"
He blushed. "It was in the way when we first got here. I took it off, set it on the bedside table. It wasn't lost, baby." He crouched beside the bed and smiled. "You hungry?"
"Alright. I made chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, snow peas, I cut up some tomato." He paused. "Please do not think it's bad, but I made bread with spices, cut up melon and ham, and set it all on a plate." He blushed again. "I made it all sort of fancy. It's time for a real date - I want a chance to woo you."
