"One more scar could get you killed," Sarra scowled.

Marko just shrugged. "They could have killed you, you know," he pointed out.

"But they didn't," Sarra argued, "I'm here and I'm fine. End of story."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Not end of story!" Marko growled, jumping up from the couch. "I want revenge! They can't think they can get away with that!"

"And then they'll want revenge for your revenge and this stupid cycle will never end until we're all dead!" Keisarra also got to her feet, a little less hasty than Marko. She gave her boyfriend an annoyed, but still patient look, "I don't like them any more than you do, but I really don't want to end up getting people killed."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Maybe it would be better of one or the other of us was dead," Marko said, crossing his arms in a stubborn stance.

"You don't mean that," Keisarra scowled, shaking her head, "It's never good when people are dead."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Marko raised his eyebrows at her. "You don't think? You think this constant war is better than one side being gone?"

"But what if that one side is us?" She asked, frowning, "I don't see that as good at all."

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Marko scowled and crossed his arms. "We wouldn't lose," he assured her.

"How would you know that?" Sarra poked him in the chest.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Marko slapped her hand away. "Because I know, okay? We're better than them."

"God, you're so annoying !" Keisarra threw up her hands.

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

"Yeah, well, so are you," Marko snapped. "Why can't you just let me take revenge on them for hurting you? Do you think it's WRONG or something?"

"No, I know why you want to," she grunted as a twinge went through her shoulder, "But you could get hurt again!"

[ᴄʀʏsᴛᴀʟғʀᴏsᴛ]

Marko waved his hand dismissively, as if him getting hurt again was no big deal at all. "Nevermind that," he said.

Keisarra grumbled and turned away from him, "You're too reckless," she said as she hobbled toward the kitchen.

"And you're too prudent," Marko snapped in reply. He followed her relentlessly. She wasn't getting away that easily.

"At least that won't get me killed!" Sarra snapped, trying to give him the cold shoulder. She limped to the fridge and opened it up.

Marko gritted his teeth. "Why do you have to act like such a b****?"
