Cador shrugged and nodded and grabbed a few good ones and added them to the basket.

He smiled and turned his head, catching her lips in his.

She grinned, returning the kiss gently before she pulled away, "Now let's hope your men actually catch a rabbit for tonight."

"Don't worry, they will," he said, he turned away to pay, though the controlling, and menacing glint was clear in his eyes.

She nodded, taking the fruit basket from him, "Last on the list is the ale."

"Ah, that's my speciality," he said with a crooked grin.

Primrose laughed and gestured around the market square, "Then show me where to find it, Mr. Expert."

"Only at the best of the Ale Houses of course, at the center of the marketplace," he said, paying for the vegetables.

"I never went in their," Prim chuckled, "The girls didn't drink ale and my father would always buy his own ale, when he wanted it."

"I've been in their plenty of times before," he said, "I have.... connections, as well."

"Oh? Like what?" She asked with a grin.

"You will see my dear," he said as he led her to the dozens of ale houses.

Primrose followed him, the basket swinging gently at her side. She never liked ale much, because men always turned into pigs when they drank it, but she'd ignore that feeling for now.

The two reached the courtyard of ale houses quickly, and without hesitation Cador led them to one that seemed the loudest, and most teeming with people.

"Wow, lots of peop here," Prim chuckled, looking around.

Cador nodded and went inside, holding the door open for her to go in behind him.
