Kevin curled up under the blankets of his bed, sighing softly and trying to go back to fitful sleep though the loss of the warm body beside him was enough to keep him awake. He sighed and stared up at the blanket covering his face, a pout on his lips. He knew it must be hormones or something, but he had the itching feeling that something just... wasn't right in his relationship with Alex. It wasn't... normal. Wasn't meant to be. And though he wished it was with every fiber of his being, something just felt... off.
Alex, on the other hand, was feeling just fine. He was happy and chipper, well rested. Not to mention how his heart was soaring now that Kevin had told him how he felt.
[ hmm... I dunno. They're already technically together... And you know how Kevin loves to tease Alex cx Maybe Kevin feels that he's not supposed to be with Alex because of something (maybe a Cinderella story type thing? ) and tries to go out with another guy, but Alex finds out and isn't too happy? That could spurn some intimate moments between Al and Kev ]
[ oh. cx ok. Well, if you still want Alex to be Prince of Russia, maybe we could make it where Kevin finds out about him being a prince and feels like he has no chance, so he leaves for a break from demon-hunting (as well as depressing thoughts of not being able to be with Alex) and finds someone to date? cx ]
[ not quite, in the sense that I think I may have the guy that Kevin's going out with actually be a spy or something that works for Alex's family and be in total cahoots with Alex in order to get Kevin to realize 'oh, doi! I actually love this guy!' xD ]
Quite literally, when Kevin thought he needed a vacation, he really did need one. Which was why he was back in South Korea after several years of being in Russia, and was currently working in his friend's cafe. They were just friends -- nothing was ever sparked between them except the occasional kiss or two, and even then that was when they were being experimental in their early tween years -- but once AJ found out about Kevin's predicament, he instantly became body guard over the male while giving him a job. He was just as weary of Eli as Kevin or Alex was.
Or maybe Alex didn't care whether Eli found Kevin or not. Kevin sighed gently at that, but tried to push the thought away by continuing to clean the table off with the sudsy cloth he was using. His chestnut hair fell into his olive toned face a bit and he huffed, blowing it out of his green/brown eyes before sitting up and drying off the tabletop, setting new glasses and cloth placemats down.
Alex was, in fact, not a happy camper. The fact that Kevin had all but disappeared had him going /crazy/. Why? Why would he just up and leave the Institute?
Kevin hummed quietly to himself as he put away some menus only to have to greet some new customers -a family of six this time- and lead them to their table with a happy smile and chatty attitude, holding the menus he had just put away in his arms for the newcomers use. He missed Alex, but... He knew this is what was right. He wasn't cut out for evil, dark, action-y demon stuff, anyway.
A man who looked to be about twenty or twenty-one walked over to Alex, seeing as he had been summoned. "I found a trace of him, sir."
