"Oh, he's Kevin's ex, they were really close when they were younger but then Eli ended up cheating on him so they ended up breaking up but Kevin still loves him."

"Then why don't they get back together?"

"Because he doesn't know where he is."

"AJ..." Kevin murmured, wincing every time the male said Eli's name.

"But I'm sure we'll find him one day."

"AJ!" Kevin shrieked, shaking heavily while he glared at the counter.

The men jumped and AJ looked at his friend with surprise.

Kevin shook his head and pushed passed Alex, heading into his room and slamming the door before locking it.

"Ah, I forgot..." AJ scratched the back of his head with a sad look.

Alex watched go, frowning when the door slammed, "If he's so hung up on him, you shouldn't talk so freely about him," he muttered, heading down the hall to Kevin's room.

When he reached it, he knocked on the door softly, "Kev?"

AJ sighed heavily and leaned against the wall. "Well, there goes the fun."

Kevin wasn't in his room though. He had snuck out of the window and was now sitting on the roof of the apartment complex, looking out at the trees below.

The Russian peeked inside, but couldn't find him. He walked inside, looking perplexed until he noticed the open window. Quietly, he walked over and stuck his head out, "...Kev?"

It only took Alex a few seconds to climb up next to him. He settled down, legs pushed out in front of him, "I don't think your friend meant to hurt your feelings."

A blatant refusal to admitting he'd been hurt was on the tip of his tongue, but Alex chose not to respond. He merely tapped his fingers against the roof. Admitting hurt was...not something the Russian liked to do.
