Cinderfall nodded, "I think so too. Who knows if those foxhearts will come back." He turned back to her and licked her cheek, "Will your father mind?"

" After that fight? I'm sure he won't mind," She mews with a tiny smile, puring," Besides... We'll have to take that warrior back to LightningClan to be buried any way,"

He nodded, and motioned for her to lead the way. "We're going back to NightClan's camp, all of us." Cinderfall meowed to the other cats.

Bonescream signals for the other Nightclan cats to go ahead and glances at Cinderfall, suddenly curious," Did you recognize those two she-cats?" She asks

Cinderfall sighed, he had hoped to avoid talking about that part of his life with her again. "I... Yes, I know them. They used to be part of the gang I lead. They left not long before I found you." He replied carefully, leaving out the reason they left, and the reason he came here: to find them.

"... I can tell when you're leaving things out but... Maybe you'll tell me when the time is right," she mews softly, nudging his shoulder," I guess you werent the only one looking for escape, hm?"

He smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes, Cinderfall realized he didn't like lying to her, but he saw no other course of action that would not drive her away from him. He sighed, guilt weighing heavy upon him for the first time in his life.

Bonescream nips his ear playfuly, trying to lighten up his mood

"We should talk to your father, we need to report what happened." Cinderfall stated, her playful attitude cheering him up slightly.

" Yea.." She agrees softly

Cinderfall padded over to Valorstar's den, and called out for him, "We have news to report."
