He turned and walked out of the classroom, heading down the hall and toward his next room, a frown on his face. Nausea was building in his stomach, and he could feel himself turn a deathly pale to the point that his lips matched the blossoms outside.
Ben got the feeling that something wasn't right. He noticed a notebook laying on Valentyne's desk. He didn't have a class this hour. He picked up the notebook and went to go find Valentyne.

Valentyne was in the bathroom coughing into his hand. With every convulsing cough, there was a blast of glittery, half solid blue that shot from his body and covered part of the room in frost. The room was insanely frigid, and his breath was seen though his cheeks and nose weren't red. He didn't notice the cool temperature.
Ben walked past the bathroom door. He could feel the cold air slipping through the door. He swear he heard someone cough. He stopped and turned to the door and knocked on it. "Are you okay in there?" He called out.
"Are you sure your okay?" He asked as he grabbed the metal door handle and felt how icy cold is was to the touch. He had a gut feeling that something was wrong but then again he didn't want to make the student angry with him either.
He yanked his hand away from the door knob. He dropped the notebook infront of the door. "Fine I will leave you alone." He said as he walked back toward his classroom.

The next day seemed a bit better, though nonetheless he was asleep in history again. He couldn't help it! First, his life at home wasn't too great. Next, history was just a boring subject. And last, his new teacher was just relaxing to be around. His voice made him sleepy- like a lullaby when you're a baby.
Ben saw how tired Valentyne was so he let him sleep the whole hour. When the class was having work time he was sitting at his desk thinking to himself. What was it about this kid that knocked down his walls and made him what to care for him.
After class was over and all of the other students left. Ben walked over and laid a hand on Valentyne and softly shook him. "Valentyne you need to wake up class is over." He said hoping the boy would wake up.

He gave a shout and stumbled back, startled by the breath on his neck, and fell off his chair, a blush on his cheeks. His eyes were wide and wild, allowing the light to enter them and glow, before he stood and raced out of the room. No need to make the atmosphere anymore awkward, he had already done enough.

A week had passed.
A silent week.
He hadn't even been seen around town.
Most of the time kids who went missing that long would be envied: "She probably went on vacation, lucky!"
But he wasn't.
He was the popular party-throwing kid with the dark past.
When he went missing, they were concerned he may have been found by his father.
That would never be good. Ever.
So when he arrived at school looking sickly with bruises on his body, they were more loving and affectionate toward him in a sibling sort of way. They knew he had been through hell and back.
Walking into History, he sighed and looked around the empty classroom. Could he really spend any more time in this room, with how things were going?
