Adreif looked at the man. "Why do you want to know my father's name?"

Adreif gazed at him, carefully calculating. He could hide his father and siblings if need be. "Brom. Meadowwood."

" That old bastard is still alve?" He smiels and crosses his arms over his chest," God damn... I thought he died in that battle.."

Adreif's jaw clenched when he called his father a b*stard, but he crossed his arms lazily as well. "No, sir," he replied smoothly, with a hint of bitterness underneath. "Only blinded."

" Ah... That's why he didn't come to seek me out..." He muses and gazes at Adreif with glittering eyes," Did you know he was destined to be the 'Lord Capulet'? Or at least... Once he was."

Adreif gazed at the man. "I was not aware."

" Indeed," he gazes at the forge for a moment longer before tuning his back," You are welcome into the manor whenever you like... But only in the servants' quarters and through their doors as well."

He glared at the ground and nodded. "Yes, sir," he replied tightly. He had decided that he hated Lord Capulet.

There was a commotion outside his small villa, a loud muffled yelp for help before it was quickly silenced..

Adreif awoke swiftly and grabbed the knife next to his bed. "Who's there?!"

The sound was outside his villa and out the window one could see three people being ushered inside a nearly invisible doorway in the wall of the manor, two of the people seeming to be dragging a third

David looked concerned and stood, put on a cloak, and softly followed after the men.

The door closed but there was a sound, a small puppy suddenly appears, nearly tripping him and yelping loudly.
